Where are we with freezes, micro-stuttering, FPS and other known glitches that accompany this simulation ...

I would prefer that the Caucasus remains as it is. Thus it seems to me unnatural with these palm trees. It would be better if the Starway teamed up with developers who create new terrain (Iwo Jima for example).
Of course there is no doubt Starway has already proved he a great artist.

I sincerely hope that the Caucasus terrain, or objects and buildings, after the merger in v.2.5, will look like Normandy looks.

Some people are for and some are against mechanical throttle idle and afterburner detents. The real planes have them, but so far due to bad HOTAS components was not exactly popular among the gamers.

I don't know how much budget do you have, but I suggest to you look some military waste (scrap yard) and look to see, if there Gazelles cabin which could be purchased. What do you think about that?

OK, these pictures-screenshoots are beautiful, but I would like to see the damage model - screenshoots of devastated city after bombing. How does it look ruined city and ground?
And add a bad weather, dark clouds and little rain, to see how it looks when the weather's isn't nice.

Yes, well ... that is very interesting direction in which it moves, this pricing policy. First we had LockOn the simulation with 8 flyable aircraft, everything else has been a part of this simulation. Then came DCS, FC3 & CA - perfect. DCS free, FC3, modules and CA - pay. Now when came Normandy we have asset pack.
If this continues we will soon be forced to buy individual tanks, missile systems, ships, and why should not then and airports, missiles, bombs...
And everything will be justified with if you want to - buy, If you don't - don't buy, and of course the possibility of choice. When I think how much money I gave :cry: and we still do not have a stable simulation, works only on two cores, eternal struggle with the FPS, stuttering and freezing. MP is constantly in trouble, dedicated server out of sight etc. Somewhere must be stopped. It seems that for all of us decision time - how to proceed.

Why is the news of the Normandy map (prepurchase), as well as the promo video, first posted on fb, and on this forum has not yet been, or is discussed here in threads with more than 1600 posts and isn't visible at all?

Of course, it is your decision whether you have interest to develop this application. For me personally would be useful to be able to put on my tablet CDU or Shkval for example, or GPS device when it develop by ED.
What would differentiate setting say two tablets of say 2-3 monitor?

That would be awesome!
It would probably be a little more difficult to coding, because Maljutka guided manually, using only optical sight. A disadvantage is small range. But it would certainly be interesting to try. While Strela 2M will be, I guess, easier to add.

Do we get self-opening hangar door after landing? When, for example, the plane arrives at a distance of 10m from the hangar, for new DCS v. 2.5? Or at least a manual opening/closing, using a combination of keyboard keys.
