  1. yep, that was the issue. For anyone else that happens to run into the same problem, I had to activate my original Huey key via steam that I got from purchasing via the DCS website. I had originally used the manual download of Huey from that website, and entered the key there upon installation. However, that will not let you update automatically if you're using the steam version of DCS apparently. Good to know!
  2. hmm, I have the steam version of DCS, so I believe that version of DCS doesn't have the mod manager? I could be wrong, though I don't have the "Mod Manager" listed on the main menu of DCS. Perhaps its located somewhere else for steam? Actually, I just noticed that DCS is at a newer Ver (1.2.7) whereas the Huey module is listed as 1.2.6 Beta. Perhaps that discrepancy is causing issues. I'll have to investigate
  3. Hello! I've taken a break from DCS for a bit and just returned to fly the Huey more. However, I've been running into a very odd issue where when a mission is loaded, it won't let me fly. The view is set to a spectator view (F2) while AI takes over for whatever the given mission is. I've tested this with a quick custom mission where I made sure the Huey was set to the correct model Huey, and set to "Player." I've tested out the A-10 and P-51, both of which start fine.
  4. ah dang, I have the steam version of DCS World. I don't think that method will work with it :( Thanks for the info though in case others are having the same issue.
  5. Hiya, so I just got a key for DCS P-51D after the WWII kickstarter got funded, (yay!) however the download link on the DSC modules page is for an older version of the P-51D module: 1.2.6.18651.276-275. The DCS World version is up to 1.2.6.18933 I believe. So I'm mainly curious if any of you know of an alternate area that might have the latest version? I assume an updated P-51D installer will appear on that download page at some point, but I'm itching to get into that cockpit :) Edit: Oh and here's the link to the P-51D download page for ease: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/modules/dcs_p51d_mustang/ Like I said, I assume it'll be updated eventually, just curious if it's available elsewhere. :D
  6. Hello! So, first off the question at hand is can I set duplicate keybindings for a given control in DCS? By default, duplicate keybindings will erase the previously set keybinding. (Which isn't a bad thing in the grand scheme.) What I've been trying to do is set both the wheel breaks and airbrakes to the same key, since their operations would work relatively fine together, at least for me. I don't yet own rudder pedals with toe breaks, (sooooon) and I'm running out of buttons on my saitek. :D Thanks!
