Hi there.. Well most of the switches I tested worked fine for me however I've learned that it is necessary to set up your hardware switches into certain pattern before loading the scene in order to match your VC. Looking at the code I would write the same thing regarding the Fuel switch. For +1.0.-1 switches I wrote something like this: {combos = {{key = "JOY_BTN5"}, }, down = 3021, up = 3021, cockpit_device_id = 7, value_down = -1, value_up = 0, name = "Dome Light Green", category = "Ins Overhead panel"}, {down = 3021, cockpit_device_id = 7, value_down = 0, name = "Dome Light Off", category = "Ins Overhead panel"}, {combos = {{key = "JOY_BTN4"}, }, down = 3021, up = 3021, cockpit_device_id = 7, value_down = 1, value_up = 0, name = "Dome Light White", category = "Ins Overhead panel"}, Because I didn't edited the OFF position of the switch and assigned the same action for both up and down, the switch automatically returns to 0 when button 5 or 4 turns off. I hope this will help, anyway keep trying:thumbup::music_whistling:

Thx ..that's what I want to hear/read:)

Obviously there's still a bunch of staff to come, to bring the real detail to it and that's why I can't give you the price yet. Anyway I'm asking because I'm in really unique situation right now so I'm just wondering if this could be the time to survey the market.. Still let me know your opinion about the "aged finish" please. Thx ..stay tuned..

Unfortunately I don't make an awesome kits "for living" quite yet but it is my goal.. Got you, the lathe can't reprap itself, can it..? :smartass: Anyway I'm doing carpentry at the moment but I was working with lathes and CNC's in the past too.. Honestly I'm quite fed up with all this industry stuff and I just want to do what I love.. AWESOME KITS:pilotfly: Mind you, next time you see a HUEY part, just grab it and run my friend, run for your live:bounce: Then let me know:)

You mean electrically or mechanically? Anyway it's all going to be shown on photos when it comes to it..

The code was fine. It was the coupler that snapped and the Z axis didn't raised up while X and Y were moving from one drilling position to another.. All three of the original couplers need to be replaced as they are really poor quality.

p.s. let me know pls what do you think about this "aged" finish..

Well these pics only show the first stage of the concept.. Basically the white disc will be secured by nuts from either side and there will be a spring siting between the disc and the base. Than the thumb cap will mount at the end of the bolt.. The disc is PVC as it has ideal elasticity towards those small switches. Thx

Tank's for the tip Tacno but still in order to keep the cost as low as possible, I have to try my own design first.. Although this Apem thumbstick is really nifty, it is also little bit small for exact replica. Thank's anyway

WOW... you really wanna fly this thing don't you :) beautiful work..

Hmm.. never seen this before, but for use as a collective pivot point you would still face the fact that the lever would tend to slowly drop down.. Anyway thanks for inspiration:) The whole concept however has to be "low cost" product therefore I'll welcome any ideas guys..

well done mate.. it is motorcycle steering dumper. How good is that:)

another small update.. hello guys.. it's been busy days at work but I'm still pushing my project in every spare minute I have.. Unfortunately the parts I was expecting last week will arrive by the end of the month so I was working on few improvements instead.. Apart from new panel backlighting that I mentioned earlier, I completely redesigned friction assembly for the throttle grip which now provides very nice, smooth and strong resistance. I'm going to use this system in the lever clutch too because I really like the smooth feel of it. Also some painting has been done and I already started rewriting the CFG file so that when the module is plugged into USB, it will be automatically recognized and configured. Still lot to do but I'm getting there guys, stay tuned..

little update Hi guys.. Thank you all for your interest in this project, It's really motivational:pilotfly: To answer the most frequent question, I honestly can't estimate any price point quite yet as the project has still few milestones to go.. I'm really looking to make these in beautiful detailed finish and for example just last night when I tested the backlighting for the first time, I found that the light distribution is really bad so the whole switch panel has to be done with different lighting concept. I'm going to use a method established in real aircrafts using miniature incandescent bulbs. And so you see this is really a prototype in development using slow and painful technique "trial-error" However some good news are that I found excellent hydraulic device which will provide a resistance of the collective lever with seven different adjustments. This and the bulbs are already on their way so hopefully I'll have some more pics and updates for you by the end of this weekend.. Anyway when this first module is done I will sort out some estimates and I can start replicate them if you guys will be interested.. Regarding the question about cyclic and pedals. At the moment I think there is no point of trying to make something that was already beautifully done by Flight Link. However this kind of hardware isn't the cheapest one and there is no hydraulic involved :smartass: so the answer is: if you guys will appreciate my effort in terms of buying my toys, I will be able to invest more in my workshop and develop the whole range of "low cost-high end" modules. Stay tuned:)

and so that's it for today.. I will keep you posted.. THX
