  1. Are you not aware that this forum can be accessed by people on the internet?
  2. And all I'm saying is that it's really not a factor at all. What really matters is whether you like the final product.
  3. There are other DCS devs promising more WW2 planes? I was not aware of that. Is their communication better than Luthier's? I'd like to see their website.
  4. I don't think "communication" is a factor at all. If CoD was a huge success, then more people would have invested in his next project. The fact that it was a disaster at release (better now, but still needs work), is why more people did not invest in this game. If this game is great, no one will care how he communicated during development.
  5. Are the locals all the people who bought Cliffs of Dover and then proceeded to buy into this kickstarter? (and are you seeing my point yet? If not, I'll try again.... if he delivers this game you will be throwing money at him if he promises another game, no matter how crappy you think his communication is.)
  6. The current information policy does not bother me at all. When the game is done, it's done. I don't need daily, weekly, or even monthly updates. But that is beside the point. The current information policy is very similar to Cliffs of Dover. If you were expecting this to be different, then I think you have very questionable judgement.
  7. He should reconsider because he's already got your money? I'm not following the logic behind that.
  8. People who experienced the banana forum should NOT be complaining about lack of communication from Luthier.
  9. That is exactly what happened.
  10. Spewing hate? LOL I'm very much looking forward to this project. I'm not the one complaining about Luthier. I don't need someone to hold my hand while I wait for development to proceed. I'm just pointing out that you should have seen this coming.
  11. He said the same thing about CoD. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...
  12. If the dev is not telling you something then "I don't know when this can be done" should be the assumed talking point. Really. Do you need someone to tell you "I don't know" when that should be the default whenever the dev isn't telling you something. Second, does no one remember Cliffs of Dover? This is how Luthier operates. If you were not happy with how he communicated during that project, you should not have put any money into this project.
