Right click Update DCS World icon in the DCS World folder, left click properties, click the Security tab, click on SYSTEM to highlight it, if it shows as Allowed full control then click the Advanced tab. Click on SYSTEM to highlight it and click the Change permissions tab. Click on SYSTEM to highlight it and click the Edit tab. Tick the Deny box next to Full Control in the permissions list. Click OK and Apply, you should now be able to update as normal. Hope this helps, it worked for me.
