That's how it is for now. Much of the plane is incomplete and it's likely that this will change in the future if it's different in a real M2000c. I don't see why the M2000c would allow weapons launch on the ground with the gear down. Then again, as a pilot generally you're not allowed to turn on master arm until you're actually in combat.

Update to latest (1.5 or 2.0). It should be there.

Had a CTD last night while playing with the M2000c and simply uploading the crash log. Couldn't find a better place to post crash dumps. Could be a M2000c issue or an issue with the latest patch. DCS.openbeta-Crash-20151225-165911.zip

You can update your current install to 1.5 without downloading all of 1.5. see http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030 in particular - DCS_updater.exe update @openbeta

The log files are located in Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs\ Usually the Saved Games folder is in your profile folder (C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs\) Weirdly, having done nothing at all DCS has suddenly decided to start working again.

Does your log stop at the same place terence44? It would be helpful if someone could paste a healthy log so that I can see where the program is failing.

Do you have 1.2 or 2.0? If so you can update/install 1.5 by using the instructions near the bottom of http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030 In paticular - DCS_updater.exe update @openbeta

When launching (ie, I don't even see the start screen and the log shows nothing to do with graphics). The M-2000C module isn't installed yet, only the update for it.

Hello! So I downloaded the latest update so I could fly the M2000c. However, it fails to start. I've tried two repairs and a reboot, as well as renaming (removing) the game profile in saved games folder. No such luck! The updater runs, and then hands it to DCS. It loads 60-62mb in the task manager and then just sits there. M2000c is being released on 2.0 tomorrow.

The eagle servers are getting hammered pretty hard right now. The main site is rather slow, so any "couldn't connect to server" errors are likely to be that. Just try again in a short while.
