Earthworm

Hi there, This might be a noobish question, but here is my problem: Let's say I'm flying with a Su-25T and my wingman over the target area which is protected by several 'Iglas'. They launch a missile. The difference between me and my wingman is: - My Wingman notices a 'SAM Start' and tries to avoid the missile. - I'm still waiting for the launch authority of my bombs when suddenly both of my two engines are burning and my left wing is missing without any warning... Is there any way to receive a warning signal when a IR-Missile was launched at me, or is it just the 'visual contact'? That gives me the feeling that I'm flying 'blind', and I'm not a friend of bad surprises to be honest ;) Same issue when a a/c launches an AIM-9 or any other IR-Missile. Thanks

Unfortunately yes :( Has anyone seen the movie "Stealth"? There is a nice dogfight scene with 2 Su-37s against these UFO-Jets... It's Hollywood-like, but still pretty cool. I don't think that the F-22 would beat the Su-37 in a close dogfight. It has more adventages in BVR of course. Anyway, the Su-37 is still my favorite fighter jet. What about the Mig-1-42 MFI? :P But the project was stopped. What a pity...

Hi there I just watched this movie about the Su-37 Super Flanker, and... It took my breath away. This is really awesome. I'd like to fly one of these in LO and show the bad guys who is the real boss in the sky:pilotfly: Well... this will never happen, but at least a man can dream ;) I'm wondering what these 4 screens display by the way

My first entry in here... ;) Hi there,I recently bought a new computer. The old one was an AMD 2400+ with an ATI Radeon 9000 (64 MB), 768 MB RAM. LockOn was running fine with 1024 x 786 and low water quality. i had performance problems when i got above the clouds though. The new one runs with Intel Core Duo 2 CPU @6600 2.40 GHz, GeForce 8800GTX (768 MB), 2 GB RAM. LockOn runs fine with the highest settings. I noticed a low framerate with mirrors enabled, especially with max. zoom-out. I couldn't notice any display improvements though. It looks the same and just runs faster. I use LockOn V.1.02 by the way. PS: VERY Off-Topic: Are there any graphical improvements in LO Flaming Cliffs? Or are there just more textures? Im thinking of updating to FC, but I'm not sure if it's worth 20$ if its just one extra jet and some texture and weapon improvements. I saw some nice gameplay movies with nice light-effects (when releasing weapons, especially at night), and sound-effects (e.g. Fly-By) which i didn't notice at LO 1.02. I don't know if its just edited in the movie or if it is like this in the game. Or should I just wait for Black Shark? Thanks
