  1. This looks great. I love the addition of the "Black Shark" writing in Hebrew (Karish Shachor). Two comments: 1. A giant yellow "V" is missing. It is used to help ground forces identify IAF helos. (See following AH-64D photo) 2. The hebrew writing needs to be done in a different font - all IAF aircrafts that have a name written on them have the writing in "Writing" ("Ktiv") and not "Printing" ("Dfus") form. (See attached pic for reference) 3. All IAF helos have black rotor blades, and not desert tan. I believe this is because of material limitations and performance issues. 4. All IAF helos that are camoflauged-colored are only desert tan and brown colored - there are no camo schemes that use light green.
  2. Why do I need to trim everytime the speed changes? P.S. I used the recalibration procedure found in Saitek's support page, and the jittering I witnessed in the X52 control panel "deadzones" tab in X, Y and Z rotation disappeared. Also, there's the DH-DT switch. If it is in the middle (neutral) position, does this mean that the computer ISN'T attempting to fly the helo to the desired heading\track? I'm thinking that somehow, the AP is enabled and causing my head to explode (and the helo to crash)...
  3. Today I've experimented a lot with the controls (both in-game properties and X52 control panel). For example, after I takeoff, I reset the trim. Immediately, the helo noses up and flies backwards. Is this supposed to happen? Also, I'm constantly experiencing a left roll and some yaw, even though I established deadzones both in-game and in the X52 control panel. P.S. Concerning the four AP buttons (hdg\alt\pitch\bank hold) - when, say, hdg hold is off, and I enable it, will the computer try to maintain the heading that the helo faced when I enabled the hdg hold option? Does this apply for all 4 AP modes?
  4. I'm experiencing a problem in FC for quite some time - the jets constantly pull up I'm using X52 with SST ver. 6.0.10.7 and a profile I've created myself. I've set up a deadzone for both the X and Y axes as a result of control issues in Black Shark. Still, the jets keep pulling up. I've tried playing with the Y axis settings inside FC itself (see attached screenshot), but it makes no difference. Also, whenever I start a mission, all of my flares are automatically ejected, even though I haven't started an eject sequence myself.
  5. About the link posted, let's imagine this setup: 3 1680*1050 monitors set up as the cockpit, and a fourth 1680*1050 monitor for the ABRIS and Shkval. As you can see in the attached photo, there is a "dead space" on the lower-right corner of the adjacent 1024*768 monitor. Is it possible to program a script that displays a certain gauge (say, blade angle) in that dead space? The goal it one 1680*1050 screen that displays ABRIS, Shkval, and 3-4 cockpit gauges. The goal:
  6. Program each direction on the POV as a macro and NOT as a keypress, or you can program the center position of the POV as an advanced command that simultaneously RELEASES both "[" and "]".
  7. Well, I can't believe I didn't see the "Axis" menu from the drop-down list... Anyway, I managed to assign the axes as I please. About the awkward stick input - I programmed a deadzone in the X52 Control Panel for both X Axis and Y Axis of about 10% of the initial movement area. About SST - I'm using version 6.0.10.7. It uses the .pr0 profile files. I installed it about 6 months ago from Saitek's website. Don't know anything about beta versions...
  8. I'm having a really hard time controlling the chopper with my X52. First of all, I don't understand how to assign axes to control options - for instance, I want to assign the main throttle as "Collective", but when I use the "Add" function under "Options -> Controls", I get a set of about 130 "JOY_BUTTON X" and "JOY_POV X". I managed to do these kinds of thing in LOMAC easily, but I've whent in-and-out the entire Options menu with no success. Secondly, it appears that when the stick (naturally assigned as "Cyclic") is at the neutral position, the game gets erroneous reading from the stick, causing the chopper to constantly mimic pulling the cyclic back and to the left. I tried various solutions, but none seem to work. It is impossible to control the chopper and sharpen my flying skills when I constantly fight to keep the chopper strait and level. All I wanna do, is have some fun... P.S. I've searched the forum for an answer, but came up with scratch.
  9. Thanks, that was the solution.
  10. I'm experiencing a problem with TIR 4. I'm using the latest version of the TIR software, and the thing is recognized in the game (a column title "TrackIR" is created under Options -> Controls next to "Mouse" and "X-52"), but I just can't figure out how to make it work like in LOMAC. Any suggestions? P.S. I've searched for an answer in the forum, but didn't find anything satisfying.
  11. Thanks!
  12. the code is: TXNIKCDMFPC9RJ5AAD thanks in advance.
