Hawtshot

When switching on the autopilot into any mode, even just altitude hold, there is a red warning light that says "Voice" on the VDI caution panel. I can't find any way to extinguish that light, and the manual says that it indicates CATCC not ready for ACL which makes no sense why it comes on from an altitude hold. Does anyone know how to turn that light off when you activate autopilot?
