  1. Except actual sales support the other position, even if the specific numbers he used are made up. Wags himself has stated they do sales as often as they can since that's when they make the most money overall. Jason Williams over at 777 Studios has said the same in regards to RoF.

So it would make more sense for them to keep the prices at a lower rate to begin with.

So why don't they do that??

  2. Well, for example, many of us, myself included, paid $60 for the A-10C. That was four years ago, too!

I paid below $20 for the A10C which proves the point about waiting for the sales.

To be honest, if I was a developer, I'd rather sell 1000 modules at $40 than 200 at $60.

Edit: Come to think of it, it would make more sense to sell modules at something like $25.99 and have the sales less often with a lower discount % than it would as it is now.

As an example, I paid $49.99 for the F86 but I bet the majority of people who own it paid the discount price.

  3. Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

  4. It will hit FPS as there are a lot of lights in the cockpit. If you turn them on (not with emergency as well) what kind of hit do you get, also if you turn the brightness down does it improve FPS?

Leaving the panel switch down with the dials turned up, illuminates the dials/switches with no hit to fps.

With that setting and flipping the panel switch up kills fps but improves with turning the dials down.

It's not an issue to be honest as the dials are illuminated with the panel switch down, and that's all we need.

  5. Only thing I noticed apart from what anyone else has said, turning the panel light on hits the FPS badly. Went to 18fps in the cockpit with the panel lights on, and 40+ with them off. No big deal to keep them off though. :)

Just edited this post, it's turning the panel light switch on that hits fps... the rest of the interior lights are fine.

  6. Just had a quick go in a couple of missions and I love it.

It's actually better than I thought it would be, you guys have done a top job.

  7. Does it do this though??

    Thanks guys :D

It did with a steam key, as it shows in the ED shop "Reveal serial" thingy.

I think once the key is activated through DCS world, it automatically binds to that account.

Edit: Just to add, I don't think it matters which way it's done, it's a bonus of having all the keys available on the ED store if the worst should happen. :)

  8. Just to pop in; I've successfully bound the VEAO Hawk key received from email to my ED account.

If anyone else wants to do that, simply login to the ED website, go to Personal Section > Licensing, enter the VEAO key and you should see a button that will enable you to bind the key to the account.

    Hope this helps.

Or simply just wait till the BETA release, activate, and then see your key automatically bind to your account.

  9. So if I understand correctly, having bought the Hawk pre-sell a few days ago on the ED website, I should not expect any "early" access to the module?

Alas I was unaware of this difference

Looks like a beautiful module by the way!

    .

For those that bought on the DCS store you will have access to the pre-release version.

I haven't received your details from ED yet and if not received by Friday this week I'll post up instructions on what to do so I can send you a link and key for the pre-release.

  10. Up until now, I did not know there was such a thing as "Black Friday". :P (Thankyou Wikipedia.)

Black Friday in the US is famous across the world. It's where desperate people act like savages in order to save a few $$

For the rest of us, it's just more humorous videos to watch on Youtube.
