The year is 2015. 3 years later i have the same problem. I have purchased the game via steam. I own A10C, f-15,su-25 and 27 and the mig-21. A few weeks ago i did a fresh install to steam and the game ofc and after then every time i exit a mission i have a crash. This would not be a problem if i only was playing multiplayer. But as this goes to the campaing, my missions don't have the time to be saved after i'm done. And the only solution is to play the campaing from the missions tamp. Also i cant found a solution yet anywhere.

You have to open all mission files, make a small change and save them. Plz fix this, Leatherneck!

You don't care of the bug if you know how to fix it :D
Just in every mission go to mission planner make a small "no matter" change and gtg!

The only thing i can see in your second pic is that you have the radio switch on COMPASS instead of RADIO. So you are not able to receive anything from the ATC, only the morse code from the RSBN or ARK channel selected. For be able to communicate with ATC you must select the RADIO position.
Yes man i'am sorry. The second picture is from the AI/missions setup. which was working. But does really this switch do that?
I think i must run some more test and come back here to post them so we have a clearer picture if this is a bug or my fault.

Well, nice touch! But you already have it on your Knee board in English :megalol: and also i have explained above that i know how to set the radio. I am looking for something more complicated.

These switches are set up OK. Flipping the "Radio" switch up not necessary at this moment, but that's not a problem. It seems that something else is not turned on, my guess is You forgot about both PO-750 converters (back part of the right vertical panel) - the plane will start without them, but the radio won't work. Check Your start up procedure again.
The converters are on. Except something went wrong/failure which i had not tried the emergency inverter. But for every time i started a mission a had failures?? dunno.
But i started the campaign and at the first mission i could only comm the Ground crew. On the second i got to comm with the ATC's however not the ground crew, also had some sound issues (like the ATC announcer was duplicating words :thumbup:). On the third no issues with sounds but still no comm with the ground crew.
Which basically means no rearm/refuel, no reps etc and could be explained as the mission plan is already set and don't wont you to mess up things.

The only thing that stands out to me is in top picture is channel 14 and the lower is channel 0
No i tuned the right freq on for the ATC in my efforts. The pic is just bad timed.

Actually, it works for me atm only with the instant action mission "intercept", which is a runway start and the plane is already set for T/O. But nowhere else till now..
I took a photo from the "intercept" cockpit settings and copied them to my start up but nothing changed..

Hi i am new with the mig and steadily tying to learn it. But as soon as it goes with the radio i can not comm with anything except the ground crew. Tried all i could (manuals,forums,youtube), the settings seems to be right and still not working..i don't see much about radio problems on the forum. Could it be an installation problem whatsoever??
plz help i am loosing the immersion!:helpsmilie::helpsmilie:

Nope, the UHF option wont work..i just started over an AAR mission i've found on the forum. I set via the mission builder the correct freq for the tanker. Then i followed and doubled checked the pre AAR check list. I am doing everything right in my prospective still no response from the tanker. I just don't get it. So i ended up practicing the AAR just by maneuvering under the tanker...:S

Hi guys,
I looked around the forums and haven't found an answer, so I've decided to post a new thread. I've been trying to do some aerial refueling, but I can't contact the tanker. I enter his TACAN frequency in and the radio frequency into VHF AM, in this case 150 MHz. I press the "\" key to pull up the menu and locate the tanker. I request to refuel, but i don't get any reply. Is there something I'm missing.
NOTE: This was tried on multiple missions and none of them worked.

Same problem here TACAN set right found the tanker VHF AM set at 150MHz as the Tanker's freq and still no answer from the tanker. Also same problem with the JDAG i cant comm. I checked tutorials checked the manual and i can't rly see what am i doing wrong..:cry:

Why not make the F-4E Phantom? Then you have a rival for mutliplayer at last for the mig-21 and we will finally see it on servers being used as it should, with proper war theater for those great aircraft's!
This is my opinion which fills the gap that the mig-21bis opened. There is no role for the mig-21 in multiplayer server as it is now.
And you multiply this gap by adding planes like the mig-23 or the f-14.
This is my request to Leatherneck that created my favorite model in every flight sim but it does not support it properly by announcing those crafts.
