I'm surprised more people have not weighed in on this Oh well i mean the CH-47 and Mi-8 are faster and carry larger loads so i get it but dang an upgrade of the UH-1 would be awesome .. especially if they implemented the grenade launcher and such

understood i was just pointing out that court of public opinion was opened with Razbams statement. And that if ED didn't want comments on it here the thread should have been closed is all. and as you say balanced I will Adamantly Disagree with you as leaving posts referring to your opponents of Rascam is not in fact balance as you will allow disparagement of the other party but even the whiff of the same towards ED is countered vehemently ... I just say if one side has a line, both should .. Also you haven't missed one thing you did not like in my experience so you must be aware of the other comments. Well I Know that ED has a vanilla statement at the beginning of this forum thread. But there would be much less speculation and conversation that seems to make people take a statement meant to clarify another users statement as an accusation. If ED just Informed us of the Basic Grievance. If they do not that is fine but getting mad over conversation and speculation seems silly at this point considering that 4 modules for DCS is near or above $200... also if they did not want that why was this thread left open to responses. Also I will note people are allowed to Denigrate Razbam by calling it Rascam in this forum. I would just say that if any of my previous statements in my conversations were deemed bad .. then would demeaning the other party not also be of the same level? this is a general question and not aimed at anyone just looking for opinions.

I'm Hoping that after all the updates the UH-1H will get a once over visually and maybe a touch up to the PFM.. I mean the ole girl deserves it.. Also it would be nice if they redid sounds and maybe added ARA mods for aerial rocket artillery the 48 shot racks to either side of the Aircraft. Anyway is anything in the pipeline Devs.. Do Any other Huey pilots have a request or wish list items. Note: I'm sure this has been brought up in the past but i was flying my rotor wing aircraft and jumped in the UH-1H on a whim .. and OOOOFFFF she is getting long in the tooth so I thought maybe this may draw attention to it again. She's a good ole girl and deserves an update.

Yes they should have ended the contract... what you just said ... well the way i received your statement is that The people would not like it if ED severed the Contract... but somehow RB is blackmailing ED but ED still has a share of blame... so anyway ED is at fault too They should have cut the contract or at least a full stop and pulled the modules off the store if they were hardball it. and selling someone else work and not giving them their cut while the dispute is not yet solved is dirty business.. may not be illegal but i cant say I'm ok in any way with their practices.. looking forward to IL-2 Korea .. next step Vietnam. question. in your argument isn't ED then also stealing RBs IP by continuing to sell their product?....

I know but so is withholding profits on something already sold.. .would it not have been better to end the contract and sue for damages instead of now having to maybe defend the withholding of all income related to this dispute. if this transgression is so bad .. then everything should have stopped at that point.. sales and everything ... i honestly believe it will be harder overall (not just legally but in reputation.) to make it seem like withholding earnings is better then canceling the contract because of non compliance.. then sueing for damages and mishandling IP.. yeah i understand you blame Razbam .. I'm saying ED caused this as well .. look any further conversation is like pissing into the wind based on the quoted statement there is absolutely no way further conversation will be of any use.

I think he means that they should pay them for the work they did (not all of the money but some) and cancel any further partnership especially if they have been witholding profits after the dispute happened. but i may be wrong

they cannot finish them .. and keeping them working is different than keeping them up to date... i have posted this before and i will again .. i wish i could refund all of DCS software i no longer want to support them ... i don't trust them ... read between the lines this is about a contract issue.. so i would take a 25% refund ... hell i would do whatever it took if i thought there was a chance in hell but hey .. some times you just need to give up on a bad deal.. i give it 5-1 odds that nineline deletes this too god forbid i don't cheerlead DCS and ED.

I could agree with That but your assuming you only own one .. i own all 4 and i want my money back ... i know a lot of people want to defend ED cuz they make the game but the assumption that its all Razbams fault is odd. I'm not saying Razbam did nothing wrong never did but yall just assume Razbam is completely in the wrong in all ways... give it a rest and be reasonable. its never that cut and dry. Not turning tables just saying that the assumption that ED is in the rite without any solid statement is odd to me and i think people in general need to keep in mind its usually two issues that start a fight... 99% of the time someone does not walk in and start "Wailing" on the other .. usually there were multiple points at which the issue can be resolved. And while rarely one side is completely logical and one is not .. more often than not both are at fault.. so i just want people to stop holding ED on a Pedi stool its not helpful for you and them.

I'm just dropping 2 cents at this point but I believe that ED needs to refund (at least Partially) all Razbam modules. As I know quite a few DCS customers who barely expect ED to not break their own work every update. Also i mean there is no reason to think that keeping RB mods working and up to date is going to be anything except the back burner. I mean look what happened at the beginning of this mess. Also how long will they support it when they cant make money off it. I would question the legality of further sales as its still RB IP as well. Anyway that's my two cents with ED being part of this issue too it has some requirement to reimburse players of it game for modules that are questionable due to decisions they have made. you cant say the only option from ED was to choose the path that it has. Actually let me state this clearly. Every explanation of every issue in recent memory from ED I have ever read comes across as untrustworthy bull<profanity> along with most of its mods. I wish i could refund every Penny I spent on this Morally repugnant company.

@Kang I respect your opinion but I chose the AC-119 based on armorments. Being loaded with AP 20mm shells makes the aircraft viable against targets other than simple cargo trucks allowing it to be used in more varried situations also being equiped with a flare launcher and ilumination launcher along with IR spotlights for NVG work makes it much more versitile than the C-47. while if 7.62 miniguns were more effective i would be all for the C-47 i mean who does not like the Spooky gunship but both IRL and DCS the 7.62 is only effective against soft targets. the AC-119K was loaded with 2x7.62 miniguns along with 2x 20mm vulcan cannons allowing it to be effective against light and medium armored vehicals. also both white and ir spotlights have a fixed position and the weapons were fired by the pilot. Also based on eagle dynamics reasons for not making an AC-130 all engine instramentation was repeated fully fucntionaly on the 119Ks console so there is no need to worry about modleing a Engineer or they could create a simple AI to do engine management and callouts. otherwise everything else is done by pilot that is why i brought forward this aircraft.

I would like to to put forward the idea of building a AC-119K stinger gunship for DCS. The AC-119K is no more complicated than an Mi-8 is twin engined and carries 2x7.62 miniguns and 2x M61 20mm Vulcan miniguns. also has a flare dispencer and both standard an IR searchlights. Weapons are fired and aimed by the pilot. This aircraft would be simple enought to control with just the pilot not requiring multicrew. the M61 vulcans can destroy most tanks in DCS and the IR searclight would be useful in support of other aircraft in night missions. This aircraft would also be useful enough to satisfy many of the people requesting the AC-130. I understand that ED does not find this subgroup of Attack aircraft high on its priorities it would be a decent middle ground. Also based on the Aircraft in the pipes we will have most things required to support a Vietnam campagne shortly. Please consider this aircraft. Also i would point out that while it is not as famous as a AC-47 or AC-130 it is a uniqe airframe and simple enought to be flown by a single pilot. pleas referance the Mi-8/ UH-1/ F-14B+ as aircraft that can be flown by a single pilot but actualy require multipul crew members for proper use. also i belive that this aircraft ( if weapons are made removeable could be used for cargo missions on some multiplayer servers. And is a good candidate for som interesting fictional missions on all maps. Thank you for the consideration and any supportive comments

Look I don't even need it asap I just want to get this pre-order going I don't think they will release it until at least a month of pre-order so throw it up there and use sales to decide release date based on that

P-47 ETA Hi all I know the P-47 is a bit of a niche sell In DCS ATM but I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about the release date. Since COVID 19 is messing with the schedule it was originally to my understanding supposed to be released in Q1. Any word on the new release date
