Its not, its just some kind of an effect (going faster than sound). Scroll the look behind your aircraft at supersonic speeds and you'll hear everything.

Regarding the sound. Are you going supersonic when looking at your aircraft from the front?

Can anyone look at this as I am learning the same thing. The yellow line indicates air speed and the red one altitude? The longer the line the faster/higher the plane is and the triangle at the back is AWACS unless its full then its my own radar, is that correct interpretation? Thanks p.s. I am a total newb and I am willing to learn SU27, I love the plane. So heres my first question: (needless to say, a newbie one :P) How do I turn on IRST sensor/mode, does it turn on by turning on Elector-optical system (default keybind "O")? Any suggestions on video guides/tutorials I could look up?

Hello, I'm pretty new to DCS World and with that in mind I have a couple of newb questions. I'm wondering if anyone is kind enough to explain how do I pass bandit's correct BRA information to my wingman if, for whatever reason, location and heading between me and my wingman (brother) aren't the same. I hope I made sense with that question. :p Thanks. p.s. by correct BRA I merely mean that my wingman will be able to point the nose of his aircraft towards the bandit.
