Witchcraft grief I'm going through hell trying to get Mist/Witchcraft working so I can see ground objects in 3d mode. I'm totally confused about the 'witchcraft.cmd' stuff...no such file exists or is that a Windows console command? In my mission a little box "Main" shows on the upper left of the screen but clicking on it is useless. The mission is hung unless I press the <ESC> key. I'm assuming you start the mission then open the map but I'm probably totally wrong about that also. There's a trigger set up with the "Do Script File" and the "Do action" after 1 sec. that's why I assume you start the mission first. The inventory page is wrong also. I changed the loadout in the ME and not while in-game. Even the LAU is wrong (inventory shows lau117 but should be lau88. I know how to use the DSMS. The DSMS is not showing the correct weapons. I used "New Payload" in the ME. Edit:The "Mission Data" in the briefing does show the correct payload. The DSMS does not. Maybe this is a bug in the Steam version? PROBLEM SOLVED! I edited my .miz file with 7-zip and deleted the DSMS folder from within. Now the DSMS shows the correct payload!

Hi all: I did a custom loadout with six mavericks but the DSMS only shows two and that's all I can shoot when I'm lucky enough to get them to fire. My ai wingmen have the same loadout and don't have any probs. shooting all their Mavericks. External view shows all the Mavericks under the wing but DSMS is WRONG. Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong? I am running the Steam version - can that be the problem? Thanks in advance for any responses - this is driving me nuts!

Thanks WC I was afraid of that. It seems silly to me to leave something like a 3D viewer out of the ME. Is there any hope that the devs will include one in the future? -
Is there any way to actually "see" where objects are being placed? I mean a 3D viewer like the original IL-2 FMB? I placed some static a/c on the map and look what happened:

Thanks cichlidfan! Why didn't I think of that? I'll just map another key for static object viewing in DCS rather than monkey with Steam. Thanks again for your quick response! -
