  1. I dont know how many times I have done that, then downloaded patches, then applied them - it really is frustrating

  3. Its looking like the 52 as of the three (including CH) the only one with a twist joystick for rudder is X52. Also, it seems the Cougar has durability issues And the CH products are very expensive
  4. Yup, this was the case - I work on commercial ships and was in the med at the time and every day there were warnings (notices to mariners / NAVTEX) of unexploded ordinance being dropped in the Adriatic. The drop zones at the time seemed to me to be widespread and fairly random.
  5. I use a Cyborg Evo Wireless and Belkin Joypad. The trigger on the Evo has given up the ghost, so I reprogrammed the 'fire' to button to, no big deal. But I have been thinking about getting new controlers. Just wondering, given a choice - or going on what you already use - what setup would users here use?- and Why I guess the main contenders are 1) Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar Joystick 2) Saitek X52
  6. Just in case anyone is interested - I run a podcast called worldsurfradio.com. It does music, surf news, environmental stuff etc. but in show 19 I interviewed the US Asst. Sec of Airforce about Synfuels in B52 engines.
  7. SORTED - Blunderbird is go!!!
  8. Gotcha Polecat - i did my best, but it seems to have resolved itself. My original lockon came as one disc. I bought it because it was Ubisoft - so it had the Maddox IL2 connection Anyway, Blunderbird is go
  9. why do I get the feeling I got 1.1 - it is as glitch as hell. Flaming cliffs actually sorta fixed it, but then I could not re-arm prior to missions Am trying with patches now
  10. Sorry, please bear in mind that with me and computers, what may seem incedibly straightforward and simple - with me - will need to be step by step, so I thank you in advance for your patience. At the moment I am just doing a re-install. The initial copy is Lockon 1.12a I believe. On top of that there is the Flaming Cliffs 1.1 What I am going to do in the next while is re-install lockon, then the patches for lockon, then Flaming Cliffs Thanks for the answer brah:thumbup:
  11. I bought the disk, and am being asked for a serial number - any advice?
  12. JESUS - well, downloaded patches and now the f***king protection system is asking me for stuff - really gets on my nerves sometimes. Anyway, thanks for the help
  13. Hi All, Im a very amatuer flight simmer, but like the game. When I had the first LOMAC - my computer kept crashing, so that was frustrating. Patches seem to have fixed that. I really enjoy flaming cliffs - but one thing. In a campaign, why cant I change the outload/weapons load? Maybe there is a way in file, but help is apprieciated.
