I read about that too. I was thinking about to follow Overpros guide hope it works with Nano. I still dont know how to connect the switches. Lets say i have 10. 8 on- off and 2 on-off-on. can i just run a - wire to all "off" on the switches and then wire the other connection to the pins on the Arduino? Made a simple paint pic of what I mean. Can I also use the "A" pins Analog? to connect more switches or can I make an matrix?

I just ordered a Arduino Nona to try it out I hope I can manage to get it to work. So I have to install DCS-bios and the Arduino software

Dumb question, how do I know how treat them as button and what else can I treat them as? I understand what you mean. but what is the best way to program it? I dont have an arduino so what type is best to buy? I think the best way is to flip it back because then you dont have to worry about out of sync, right?.

I was looking through my old boxes with electrical components and found around 100 different types of switches but every one stays in one position not returning. it was both 0n-0n, on-off-on, potentiometers, so you mean I have to flip it back to off to mimic the keys on a keyboard? I also read a little about DCS BIOS.

Now I think I understand :P Okey so for the SU-27 panel. I mean both switch and pushbutton. But so to get this to work I can´t have those switch that stav in one position, It has to return just like the switch on my x-55 rhino. About LEDs..... I dont going have it.

I don´t get this. I´ve seen In "aircraft General" there are axis command that both are on throttle and stick. I tried to clear that and then saved profile. But what about the other aircraft. Is the "general" like a shortcut for the axis control so I don´t need to program it on every aircraft? For now I just want to Clear all controls and make my own on everything. How do I delete the default permanent. Do I have to every time I start the game load my own profile on every aircraft. or if I don´t the just go back to default. I tried to delete every saved control LUA in my User folder. But when I started the game every control key where back to default why. Why can´t I just do it all from scratch and save my own and then fly and be happy.

I will have some of them on the stick. like scan up/down/left/right on one of the hat switch. It´s not that easy to know what keys to have or not.

Thanks for the reply. How can it be a difference, A10c and SU-27 both have the option in option to choose what key to press to do an action. Fully clickable or not. Why would there be a problem to replace the keyboard with panel with switches. Is there a difference to assign or bind a key? I read something about DCS and Arduino and maybe it was a specific program that worked with a10c for the moment. It´s not easy to know and understand everything perfect when English ins´t your first language.

Hi. I was just thinking about that it would be nice to have a small panel when playing. It´s not so fun to just press on the keyboard. I made a simple paint pic of what I have in mind. What do you think. Am I missing something, essential buttons? I think that I would try to get this to work with Arduino, maybe ad some LEDs to. Is it going to work? I also need some advice on how to do it. Ive read about connecting Arduino to DCS but is it only work A10c?

Hi. I have some problem when I want to erase all DCS controls setting on all planes and the whole game. and I want to make my own. I have tried to clear everything and started to assign my own. But when I start a mission it just the original settings and the x-55 stick and throttle are not working properly. Example when i assign Throttle to be the throttle and the stick to maneuverer the plane P-51 mustang. the stick works. but when i move the throttle the stick moves diagonally, and to increase/decrease the throttle in the game i have to use the rotary dial on the top of the stick that are assign to elevator trim. And yes I have erased the profile from user and also saved my profiles, throttle, stick, keyboard separately. Why cant I just clear everything start over and assign everything myself. And make it work. /Robert

I will look for the servers you mention. Haha, meet someone, their rockets....... I´m still very new to this sim and it´s a lot to learn. One thing I thought about, how to do when ground crew tells it´s unable to complete, when trying to rearm before start. Sometimes they loadout but sometimes they dont, am I missing something.

I don´t remember the server, yes i chat with one who also was new to this. I read about what you say in the briefing before press fly. but it was way to long time to fly to reach the target at least in a SU25t. I have read and look in the forum and found Missions and Campaigns thread. Some have the type of MP style I was looking for. But how do I found that server to join in MP? Seems like everyone join Aerobatic servers. I also found some Missions that you guys created that may suit me in SP when I´m done flying the original mission. Where do I put the mission file? Sorry for bad English....

Hi. I just started to play MP. Maybe this is a stupid question.... In the server the mission was i think to bomb an airbase, I took off at an airfield maybe 30-45min real time to fly and I dident meet anyone. did break my plane during a roll because i was bored but..... What all this MP all about. Flying for hour for nothing it feels like. I thought this MP should be like maybe two team two airbase and the first who bomb the other base should win or something like that. or shoot down the other teams plane. Maybe there is such mission but i can find them. So I would really appreciate if someone could explain a little or two about this simulator in MP.

Hi. I have DCS- World, And when I play SU25t, And want to restart a flight, some sound is missing, engine sound. To correct it I must quit to main menu and restart from there, Someone have the same issue? I play the sound thru my HDMI from graphic card if that can cause the problem. /Robert
