  1. Hay guys! Im an old school FSX modeler, so there is a lot I need to learn about DCS. One of the problems I have been having is in the specular mapping. In DCS 1.2+, how is the spec channel handled? In 3DS Max, I have a spec map in the specular slot, and DCS can see it just fine. I have a gloss map in the Glossiness channel, and DCS is not using it. I have tried all sorts of materials like mirror and default, but so far no luck. It seems that the spec channel handles both the specular highlight, and the reflection amount? If that's true, that's going to make things a big more difficult for me. If not, were does the glossy map go into the material? Thanks in advance! Kevin "Gibbage" Miller
