update: I defaulted my motherboard and got rid of all my over clocks and tested DCS and what do you know I was able to fly for 45 mins or so. I don't think it was the CPU over clock, I really think it was the XMP profile 1 set for the RAM. The CPU was max out at 100% a lot though, I would say well over 50% of the 45 mins. I am going to slowly go back up on the cpu over clock to see what happens. But, I was able to get DCS back up and running.

Hi all, I downloaded 2.5 on release day and had no problems with it for a couple days. After the small update I have had nothing but difficulties. I have since done a clean install hoping it would clear the problems, yes problems, out. but I fear I have made things worse or even worse the game is broken for me somehow. I can start the game up and go into Multiplayer and get in. I usually have enough time to pick my plane and click on brief, then I get kicked for failing integrity check. I then have to exit out of DCS and restart. The reason for integrity checks is always different. they all look like this though but all are different- textures/mig_29c_tex08_ukr @ bazar/textures/mig-29c.zip. Or, the games will not last more than a few minutes and I get the normal DCS has crashed box. Sometimes I can fly around for a bit and the game just closes, no warnings no boxes no nothing. I have included a couple logs and a screen pic of an event viewer, not sure if that one will help in anything though. There has been a couple BSOD's but I think those are on me but not sure. This is a clean install that has been cleaned and repaired multiple times with moving the saved game folder so DCS can create a new vanilla one. Nothing I have done has had any effect. I did delete everything again and deleted the registry for DCS. after that I'm lost.

I had to do a clean install of my OS and when I finally got 1.5 beta downloaded and running I get a pop up (see Pic). I have never seen this and have no idea what it is?

This same exact thing happened to me as well.

Has the trigger bug been fixed in the official 1.5 DCS for the Enemy Within Campaign yet? If not is there an ETA on when it will be fixed?

I downloaded the regular 1.5 version to play the enemy within campaign because there is a track ir problem in the beta. Now I cant play it at all. In the beta I cant turn and look any farther than my flaps with my Track Ir, and its only with the A10c for some reason.

I have been trying to play the Enemy Within Campaign after the new update on 6/24/16 and am having nothing but problems. The first problem is that my Track Ir goes in and out (says unplugged then wait a minute or two then says plugged in) also I cant rotate my head a complete 180 degrees. I can only look back as far as the flaps. My track ir says that I can but the curves are at 30 for yaw. It was not like that before the update. 2nd thing is that DCS crashes during campaign play. I drop a gbu 12 on a truck in mission 5 to be able to call in ford in the f10 options and I can see the bomb it and then DCS crashes every time. Thanks for any help or advise.

x55 mouse nipple I was told to stay away from the x55 software till I got better with the game. For the life of me I cant figure out the axis for the slew. I want to use the mouse nipple on my x55 HOTAS as slew, please help, thanks.

I wouldn't think it would but would playing this on Steam have anything to do with the control settings on either the x55 software or the DCS options setting. I did program a lot of the buttons (I was playing around with the software) on the x55 software and then went to the game and nothing worked. I went back and everything I did was gone. I did save it all. Just not sure what is going on with that.

Is there anyway to get the x55 rotaries to work in DCS control options? For now I would like to be able to use the mouse nipple for slew. be nice if I could use the other rotaries to work but I guess I don't need them right now.

Thanks for replying so fast. let me ask you this, in the x55 software the flight controls are left empty do I need to set the X,Y, and rudder? And do I set them with a one button push or with a advance key command where I push it, continue the push, repeat then let go of the key? so can I just program with the x55 software save all of it and then go to the game and it will read it from the x55 software or do I need to do something else? thanks again

Hello all, Im new to DCS and have purchased A10C and the X55 HOTAS. I can (maybe) figure out the game and flying, but am having problems with the setup of the x55. Do I clear out the in game options for the controls and use the x55 software to program the HOTAS? If I do that do I leave the x55 software open in the background and then open the game? Do I create the commands in the x55 software and then load it into the DCS options? I would really like to get this set up and start flying for at least the learning phase and add commands as I go (huh, sounds like a good idea). Looking for any advise for the game and setup options for the x55. I know the x55 has had a bad rep but mine seems to be working. thanks
