  1. We have more units, statics and possibly slots ( if that matters) then nearly all other servers so the net code is fairly strained I assume already. I've personally not seen consistent lag and all the scripts have been redone to have little impact on the server. It's worth checking your upload as well to see if you are hitting any limits, but I doubt it. Cisco is a networking guy so might be able to offer advice? It might be worth logging CPU usage to see if one core is saturated when you lag (dcs only uses two threads, one sound, one game) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

  3. SRS has no effect on DCS, it uses different sockets, different protocols etc. It's no different to running teamspeak or discord at the same time as dcs. When you lock someone and they lag, that's just dcs netcode or fps drop. Same as when you fire a missile and it lags On mobile so can't find link - but search for setting dcs upload / download . Datalink was not taken out - it just only works in range of ground GCI - that was the plan at least and seems to work You have to deploy EWRs which can only be loaded at airfields (Not FARP, ROADBASE etc) by choppers or TF :) KA50 is not going to blue for now, as we want to keep some separation of airframes. M2000 is a popular airframe, if it's only on one side, that side will have stacked numbers - simple as that. I'd rather avoid the rage about numbers per side again. :) A change was made last night so friendly units within 10km of a friendly zone are not persisted. Ie you capture a zone and the units used to capture are removed Man pads are terrifying , that's the point . Don't fly obvious routes and be ready with flares.   11. You don't need to mess with that file or any other lua. Installation is: Download latest release zip here: https://github.com/ciribob/DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone/releases/download/1.3.3.0/DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone-1.3.3.0.zip Extract the zip to your desktop ( all files) Run the installer.exe (leave all as default if unsure) Installation Done. The installer will open up where it installed and then: run the client radio, configure push to talk and radio switch hotkeys. Connect to the server you want to talk on (listed in mission). That's it :) Pm me if you want help. I'll do my best with Google translate :) Guys, please don't call it buggy though, without reporting bugs... If you find bugs, report it or they won't get fixed.   12. Possibly, we'll see how it goes. Lots of JTACs will cause lag, if they're searching all the time for targets. If they've found a target it's ok. As I say, JTACs within 10km of friendly bases will not be persisted which may solve the problem anyway. :) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

  14. Please report bugs.... Afaik there are none outstanding, other than one known one and it should be at most a 5 minute setup including keybinds :) Unzip, run installer, bind keys ( you can get away with 3). done. :) Feel free to PM me with suggestions or improvements as it shouldn't take any fiddling around other than the above and I'm genuinely interested and want to improve it. :) Edit: sorry if this came across as confrontational!   15. On purpose - Sochi reset. Units have changed there. Should work now. Two new FARPS added as well. All FARP slots should be consistent and finished. A few new Aircraft slots added - will need more work. Reset all persisted units as Blue had deployed so many JTACs you could see them all. Still working on persistence, rules will be: Friendly units within 10KM of friendly base will be removed and not saved. JTACs will persist for 6 Hours Stinger - 6 Hours SAM Site - 15 Hours
  16. As Roblex says, have a look at SimpleRadio standalone.   17. Map is still going though changes, farps should all have common defence from tomorrow evening and farp slots finalised, including uh1 for both. Still need to finalise airbase slots and add two more farps in the mountains. Bases should get added tomorrow. No Major Features added :) KNOWN BUG If you get lag while using the radio, press L Ctrl + L Shift + L to fix. This is a DCS bug i'm trying to work around and is triggered by pressing L Ctrl + L. It doesn't matter if that key is bound or not, it'll still cause lag when you press it Changelog Whitelisted F16-MFDs & Leo Input Box Fixed 1px black square for some users that have not moved or used the overlay. Please report these bugs directly as I only found out about it after stumbling across another thread! :) Fixed uninstaller to be much safer. The file will be automatically loaded when that radio appears on an aircraft. The frequency list can also be manually reloaded with the reload button. The files are per radio not per aircraft.   20. I'll look at adding this at some point. The volume controls on individual radios work as a stand in for this panel currently. Its all in LUA so if anyone wants to have a go, that would be appreciated as im not quite sure i understand how the panel works. Will need to have a play with it :)
  21. New Feature added this morning - The F10 Pak Info will now list whether defenders are still alive or not so you can know if you've got them all. Look for DEFENDERS ALIVE or CAPTURABLE (when they're not) when a base is closed. Bomber script will now only allow up to 3 bombers in the air / in progress at one time (per side) with a cool down timer as well to avoid spamming of bombers. Bomb count for accurate bombs is 5 Other minor changes but didnt have much time.

  23. Were all the ground vehicles present very close to the farp? I tested and it only worked when chopper had batteries on, radio selector set to INT (assuming Huey) then radio menu making sure it says intercom in top right. Doors open as well just to be sure. By editing the quote you missed the two points or i wasn't clear enough :) AWACS - Not going to be feasible for now due to spawning issues (where to spawn and respawn) and lag issues, plus spammy calls over radio. Forget AWACS :) Ground Based Radar - Works for RED but not yet proven to work for ALL Blue Airframes including F15 & other Hi fidelity aircraft in Multiplayer for clients, not just the Host. As I said - It requires internal testing and more info before we can make a call on it - Which wont be till Sunday at the earliest so please be patient with us :) VentZer0 - Sent me a PM and has tested F15 on Blue with ground radar in single player, which didnt used to work. That is promising, as it used to be hardcoded to not work in DCS but the test is, as I said - All fighter Airframes, for Blue, as Clients in multiplayer, with no lag / rubber banding working with Ground Radar. If it doesnt work then RED get Datalink plus AI GCI and BLUE get partial AI GCI which isn't really workable.
