Thankyou Leafer , yes well been busy with the outside world (3 boys , 2 step daughters and married twice ;-) ) . the Video is outstanding , and very good control he is a very good Virt Pilot. bit of a report on ed tracker after a days use ed tracker did not work for me very well between having to keep it plugged into the pc (which enforces proximity to the box) and it not likeing the usb3 ports (would go nuts once temp reached over 37c) it was a no go...but when it worked it was a great 3 axis cheap IR alternative.. will stick with the hat on the hotas for now (new shower is needed in the house before I can justify 160 quid on TrackIR).. have fun all.

Well I have been getting to grips with DCS for the last month on a laptop (I have not flown a sim since Falcon 3.0 back in the early 90's) so the fact I have had to run in in 720p with low settings did not bother me much (the fact the you can't see the polygons in the hills impressed me).. this have come a long way since the original Microprose and Spectrum Holobyte days... anyway I talked my wife into me getting a new box (have to give up the laptop to one of the kids for University) .. I was worried the specs would not be enough , but as I plan to run it on one large 1080p Monitor (using ed tracker rather then Track IR) and the middle mouse wheel to zoom .. I think the following specifications will be enough.
