Virtual Aerobatic pilots, we have already processed over 5 applicants, with two still pending interviews. We have just accepted our first recruit and are now looking for 2 virtual aerobatic pilots that are experienced in or can adapt to left wing. PM me or post your application below!

Virtual Aerobatic Pilots, Alongside an experienced aerobatic pilot, I am in the process of launching a new virtual aerobatic team. We are searching for dedicated pilots and personnel to join us on our new project. As an idea, combined we share 10 years of virtual aerobatic experience. Both spending time and dedication flying as formation pilots for other teams in Flaming Cliffs 2, DCS and other sims. We have reached a point where we are deciding that we would like to produce a unique team ourselves, in which we can launch and maintain, with the goal of show-readiness at virtual airshows such as VFAT, VUAF, vAir etc... If you are interested in this project, please cast your opinions and interests to me and we will arrange a time to get to know each other. We have already devised plans and started work on a 3D model for the aircraft we will fly. See below the basic requirements that you must acknowledge before attempting deciding to apply. 1. You must have a good understanding of the English language and be able to speak fluently. 2. We have set a minimum application age of 15 years old. Applicants that we consider young will be observed of their maturity. 3. You must have a static schedule. (Have a weekly schedule that does not change on a regular basis). 4. You must own a legal copy of Flaming Cliffs 3 for DCS:World. If you would like to cast your interest, copy the application template below and post it in the comments. If you would rather not publicly post your application, private message it to me instead. Name: Callsign (if applicable): Age: Location: Time Zone: Weekly Schedule (if available, leave blank if not): Previous Experience: Email / Contact method / link: If you are an experienced pilot that is looking for a team to join, we urge you to try your bet with us. The likeliness is that if you can display maturity and humor at the same time, you fit the profile we're looking for. Unfortunately, if you are an inexperienced pilot that isn't used to formation flying + aerobatics, we discourage you from applying. It is in our best interest to begin practice sorties of varying degrees of challenge as soon as our mod is available for DCS. This is currently a disclosed, private project and only if we believe you fit the profile we are searching for will we share our plans with you. Thank you for reading. Jamie Munn ''Hawk''

Thanks again guys :') -
Hi guys, As the title states, I am currently searching for a 3D modeler to assist me in a project. For the past 5 years I have been flying virtual aerobatics with some well known teams among the community. It has come to the point now, where I am deciding to take my personal flying skills and develop them into leading attributes, to where I will start to lead my own demonstration team. As everyone's aware, getting a modification in DCS is a tedious task, but if anyone is willing to lend a hand it would be more than helpful. A bonus would be if you are keen to fly in a team as such also. We have some aircraft in mind that we want to fly already, but if you are interested please reply to this post or pm for my email address. Thanks for reading.

Hi Jacks, Thanks for the comment! Surprisingly, no. I myself have a very low end PC, I edited the footage (not recorded). I have flown on minimal settings with up to 9 aircraft with no lag and have flown virtual aerobatics for a few years. So of course I can only assume, anything better than my tragic setup would be better. Looking at your specs, you could easily do the same with no lag and good graphics. If you need any help, let me know. :) -
Hi guys, Recently I had the pleasure of producing a promotional video for one of the most highly respected teams in the virtual aerobatics community, the Jet-E-Sons. The team replicate the work of the Patrouille de France in DCS with 8 alphajet aircraft. Please check out the promo, and if you have any other questions, find the website / facebook for the team below. Website Facebook Page

This post is mainly tailored towards virtual aerobatics enthusiasts alongside those who are interested in airshows, virtual and real. You may have seen the Virtual United Air Festival up on the ED forums lately as we are in the planning for our 2015 show. You can get all the information (including confirmed performers / VUAF history + staff vacancies) on our website and facebook. http://www.vuaf.co.uk http://www.facebook.com/virtualuaf We are aware that there are multiple forums open around the virtual aviation / DCS community, some that are used more frequently than others. We have created a forum in the past, which we didn't focus on very much . If we were to focus on and maintain a forum, would you actively use it? If so, what would you like to share on the forum? It would be dedicated towards aerobatics and would allow teams to recruit pilots and also let other virtual airshows share their ideas. Let us know by posting on this thread! Would you use a VUAF forum? Tell us here! If you aren't interested, simply click the appropriate voting option or leave the survey. - https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CM9868C

The website lists all confirmed performers, under 'Show Time > VUAF 2015'. We have also released a short teaser trailer. I will list all links below. Any sharing of this content would be much appreciated as we are working towards having a large turnout this year. Regarding the Show Announcer position, all information is stated on the website under 'Staff > Vacancies'. http://www.vuaf.co.uk http://www.facebook.com/virtualuaf Teaser Trailer - Our website and facebook are regularly maintained so feel free to check them for constant updates. If you have any other questions, shoot me a post via this thread. Thanks! CEO - Jamie Munn VUAF Staff 2015

Thanks for the comment! Appreciate the idea, but we'll be sticking to the original concept. This allows absolutely everybody to take part, which is something we're really keen on.

The final (after qualifiers) will be streamed live on Twitch. You may not be good enough to win, but it's really worth participating in, trust me! It's great fun, and you'll be in line for some VUAF content and if you get to the final, you'll be flying live. Thanks for the comment anyway.
