I used to play original Lock On and I am returning now after two years because of FC2. I had the same "problem" trying to launch my Mavericks. After two hours(really) of frustration and messing around with the joy config, I had this little "spark" in my mind:HOLD the button for two sec your moron! So, you are not alone with your difficulties. There are so many new (and old) things to learn about this sim. In the end , mastering FC 2 is very rewarding.

Yes, it´s happening only in lock on. In fact, I have only the blue screens,no CTDs. I´m interested in what you say about the dual core.Do I have to set the game to run just in one core, to prevent crashes?How can I do that? thanks for replying.

I sthere some sort of fix to the CTD with blue screens and messages like BAD_POOl_CLEANER and others? I get this when trying to use external views or F10, or even trying to fly campaigns(every time I save first mission, blue screen of death...) Some times this happens in the middle of missions, without explanation,too... I´m running 1440x900 , settings med to high, in a AMD X2 5200, geForce 8600GT , 2 GB RAM,mobo Asus M2N,MSFF2 with force feedback disabled, with excelent frame rates and no stuttering.

Well, I receive an e-mail from ED team, exactly 24 hrs after my transaction, comfirming that my package have been sent! Seems all previous difficulties have been solved! Plannin to buy Flamin cliffs now.:thumbup:

Well, I´m not complaining, but after read so many problems with payment, I decide to ask :how many days last the status "processing" after a payment using Protx? Everything is running fine right now? Can I be relaxed and wait for my LOMAC copy arrives without any problems? I have send an e-mail to ED team , but they send no answers at the moment. Maybe here I can receive an answer , just to reduce anxiety a little bit.
