  1. updated our runtime version to the current preview version (113.2309.7002) using openxr tools on the windows store and it works now
  2. Yeah, It works in multi threading with steam vr, I was under a misconception and thought openxr only worked with mt and steamvr only opened in st. (I think I also had some misconceptions about openxr which i still dont quite understand) I'll amend my issue to say I can launch the game through steam vr, but it doesn't work when I launch the game with just the mixed reality portal open as I had been doing in previous versions which worked perfectly fine
  3. that didn't help, I don't see the connection as that thread seems worried about performance and my issue is that the headset doesn't connect to the game on openxr while it does in steamvr. That being said, I did notice the first time I launched it with the manually set page file the head tracking did keep working after getting past the load screen but there was still no video being displayed in the headset. I tried again (still with the increased page file) and am still having the same issue I started with
  4. running a reverb g2, it opens in MT mode in vr mode, it tracks for a split second but then stops, video is never displayed in the headset though. it opens in single threaded steamvr and runs as expected I've attached the associated st and mt logs dcsst.log dcsmt.log
  5. yeah that special option did smooth it out quite a bit, we're still noticing a bit of that AoA situation going on but we'll defer to your aerodynamic explanation thanks. It's one of those things where we wish we had the real piloting experience to understand these types of different pitch phenomenon.
  6. is this pitch behavior intended? As it currently is at most speeds the f1 resists going into turns resulting in this sort of rebounding behavior. It makes for a pretty uncomfortable experience and difficult to judge turns. attached is a gif of the behavior with a heavy turn to exaggerate the movement, but this happens at higher speeds too, but harder to convey through video. In other modules we would expect a smooth change in turn rate as you pull like in the f-5 for example but in the f1 it seems to be wierd like this.

  8. So I just installed a new mobo and cpu about a week ago and as I went about reactivating all my modules I found the mig activation didn't work. Other modules look like they've activated alright but whenever I hit activate for the mig it looks like it goes through the activation fine. It gives me activation successful and when I hit ok this happens and the module doesn't activate I've tried doing things like deleting the reg, running as admin and re downloading but nothing works. Anyways that's my problem, see if you can help then
