Just wanted to say thanks for this folks. Excellent work, I tried it myself and thought i was going to lose my mind configuring the switches on the Thrustmaster Stick & Throttle.

This is a great piece of information. Thank you for the tip. I'll read through it and learn how to use it. Excellent suggestion for newcomers. Learning and configuring myself was getting to be so frustrating and far too much work.

I am just getting started and struggling through some set up options. I'm not familiar with the capabilities and functions of DCS World just yet. Is anyone spanning DCS over multiple monitors. I am running 3 of 30" HP ZR30w monitors with a Titan GTX980. After configuring the 3 monitors to act as 1 using Nvidia Phys X spanning, I get some high resolution choices but strange behavior. When I start a training session and eventually crash, the pause menu appears but it's a non functioning screen (attached fig 5), in other words, it's just a picture, none of the choices in the menu are functional links, I have to use task manager to shut down the session then it goes back to main menu. I was running at 5040 x 1050 when this happens. I'm going to try other resolutions like 7680 x 1600. Maybe there are other settings that need to be adjusted to compensate for this behavior Obviously i know nothing about how this works and have opened a ticket with the fine support group at DCS, but considering I only have the weekends to test this, i thought i would ask anyone else out there.

Hi folks, I reinstalled DCS and now I'm trying to add my modules but am getting a message stating that the newer version of DCS cannot install my previous modules I have all modules stored on my computer and none of them will install. Could anyone please help me to figure this out. Do i have to download them again ? that is a lot to download, i would think there is a single file for each module that would work to resolve this issue. please see screen shot for message on my UH-1H, i get the same message for each module

Hi folks, Newbie here... I did a search on pre-loaded profiles for beginners but didn't find anything. I wanted to inquire if there are pre-set profiles available for download related to the thrustmaster throttle and joystick specific to aircraft. For a beginner, it is difficult to assign button tasks without knowing the best configuration of the aircraft. It would be easier to learn the fundamentals of using the aircraft from a preset configuration... then later make adjustments to buttons accordingly for personal preferences. For Example: I'm looking for Warthog Throttle and Joystick profiles available for Su-25T or FC3 with a downloadable legend to start with. I know it's a lot of work for each user to set up their own profiles based on style and purpose, so sharing is much appreciated.

Hey folks, first time here. Rather than to ask support, I was hoping I might be able to inquire with the community if anyone else is having issues with a loud humming between loading of modules. it's like the activity shuts down but the sound card won't release at the very end and hangs on to the last note.... i get this terribly loud noise when i exit or switch between a module. It won't go away until i load the next activity kicks in. I'm using onboard sound on an Asus sabertooth X79 MB. Anyone experience this type of issue, feedback is always appreciated.

I'm totally new to DCS ... after purchasing a Warthog throttle and joystick, I'm looking for an application to put it to good use. I figured DCS is the right place to start. I downloaded the DCS World from Steam but it just crashes each time i try to start it. So i came here to download and hopefully it will work. To any fellow Warthoggers. If there are any suggestions or comments about using, calibrating or best game to use it with, i would very much appreciate your input. I have a high end system so there's no restrictions to type of game or graphics. i'm looking for the most realistic and responsive app which will accommodate the HW joystick and throttle combo.
