Windows 10
DArt, I apologize, I may have given you some inaccurate information about Windows 10 and my issue may be local on my PC only.
LotAtc ver 1.0.0 was working perfectly with Windows 7, I took the plung to Windows 10 a couple of weeks ago with the only change I had to make was updating my video card software and everything else was fine....except LotAtc 1.0.0
I'm here today to search for solutions from the DCS community please, here is a little history about my issue:
As I stated previously, my ver 1.0.0 (64bit) is registered and worked perfect with Windows 7 Home Premium.
With Windows 10 when the program starts, the intro window comes up and doesn't go any further, I never see the connect buttons at all, no matter how long a wait, when attempting to click on the program window, it shows it is not responding and shuts down. I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it with no luck, I have also tried the 32bit version of 1.0.0....it also will not respond.
Just for trial an error, I deleted ver1.0.0 and installed the previous version .9 and it works perfectly but our server has 1.0.0 on it so I cant use it....but it works....hmm....(scratching head profusely at this point).
So I took it a step further, my PC was really due for a dump and reformat, so for the past two days, I reformatted my gaming PC, reinstalled a fresh install of my faithful Windows 7 Home Premium, got everything updated and reloaded........LotAtc ver 1.0.0 will still not respond past the start up window.
While writing this post, going over my limited knowledge of PC functions, the only thing I can think of common between my original upgrade to Windows 10 when it stopped working and now my fresh install of Windows 7 is the fact I am running the same version Video driver I updated in Windows 10......could my issue be that simple, the new updated Catalyst Suite Video Drivers may be the incompatible component?
If no one can come up with a possible solution before I get home from work this evening, I guess I will try to uninstall my Catalyst Suite and all video drivers and see if ver 1.0.0 responds.
I'll report back here later and Thanks in advance if anyone has any other ideas.
