Yes, I checked to see if eac was on, made sure iffcc was in anything except off, checked the cdu systems page to see the validity of the LASTE and EGI and EAC and all related. According to the CDU all systems were a V for valid/ P for pass. Im not sure what it is. Gonna probably just end up reinstalling the game.

scratch that...it doesnt work in dcs a10c anymore.....Im really not sure what Im doing wrong...

I understand. However that that doesnt work either. Im not banking very much either. Ive tried it in each autopilot mode to see. I also tried to unplug my joystick and hotkey it again. still doesnt work....

Is there a known bug or something that prevent me from orbiting? For some reason the autopilot doesnt seem to be working the same as before for me and I am unable to use it to bank. PTH HOLD only seems to work when Im straight and not when I am banking. I have a logitech joystick connected and its hotkeyd to it. When I click I can hear and see the autopilot button on the left console clicking but it will only engage when Im flying straight.....any thoughts?

I am practicing my startup procedures for the a10c and I noticed as I was setting up my hud through the bit tests and all that there was the 30mm gun branch screen. Ive been aware of this feature but never really thought about its capabilities or settings. I was reading the VAR TGT ELEV option and was curious at exactly what that was used for. I assume that it is used for the ccip reticule when in the 30mm gun mode? Or does the system automatically calculate the elevation of that ccip or do I need to set it? Cuz thats what I thought the 4-8-12 reticule was for....like when you cant determine the elevation such as mountainous terrian.....I tried searching that term in the adobe document version of the a10c manual that I have but to no avail....

HEY yall. I was wondering if anyone has access or knows of any exam/ test like documents that I can take for fun to test my knowledge of the systems and the aircraft (with an answer key preferably). I would put one together myself for fun but I dont feel like im qualified or know enough to do that just yet LOL. If anyone has any ideas or pointers or links it would be truly appreciated!

yes I was 10 beers deep. Its my ritual to fly while intoxicated so when I couldnt get my PC working I quickly scrambled to write on the forums. Its a gtx 960. no m lol.

Hello everyone. I just built my new gaming desktop around 2 weeks ago. I have been gaming on it for that same amount of time. Ive been playing dcs a10c and dcs world along with battlefield 4 and other games. Today I moved and when I hooked up my gaming desktop after moving I am only getting literally a 5 fps in every game I have on my pc. I have no idea what it is. PLEASE HELP I have no idea where to even start. It is an odd occurance, everything is working its just when I play a game i get lag 5 fps. I dont know what it is. before all this Everything was 60 fps. specs: gtx 960m i5 4670k z97 motherboard 16 gb ram 600 psu 1 tb hardrive

Upon review my method i notice that its because I was on or around page 120 where they only discuss the pages of the CDU nothing that has to do with anything else and those ones dont have any arrows with names....

O gosh....thats exactly what Im looking for. IDK why I missed it before. Maybe because its a 600 page manual that Im viewing through a pdf. Thanks.

Hello, Ive been researching the CDU portion of this sim and Ive looked through the wiki and in the manual and Ive searched on youtube :thumbup:but couldnt find diagrams like that of the HUD that would point out with an arrow what particular symbols and annunciations are present on particular pages of the CDU. If anyone knows of such convenient diagrams or tutorials let me know!:thumbup:

The result of runway 7 turning into 064 is a direct result of the magnetic reading and accounting for the minus 6 right?

You mentioned runway approach charts, is there a special page in the CDU or one of the mfds that holds this information or is this something that I find in the manual?

I have a question about the 29.98 qfe, I understand that it is the altitude of the airport that you are heading, is it customary to change it to that reading as soon as I get that or no since it seems to conflict with the current reading that I am flying with when I receive the radio message?

Now when you say that the ATC is rudimentary are you saying that it is not simulated well? This is my first flight sim so in regards to an ATC I am not sure what to expect.

Is there a reason you would have the HUD off?
