  1. Looking at the celebrations of our US friends tomorrow, the 924th vFW in cooperation with Knife Edge Simulations are proud to present the teaser trailer for the upcoming ID4 themed DCS World "modification". It will include both AI controlled spacecraft and static objects, as well as coop PvE (E stands for aliEn) missions. We're planning to host events for the community if all goes well, too. As the development progresses, we'll post updates on /r/hoggit! "We're going to survive! And today, we are celebrating OUR INDEPENDENCE DAY!"
  2. Good to hear! A fresh start sometimes works wonders [emoji16] hope stuff goes well for you now. Cheers FitzZZ
  3. [Tool] DCS Configuration Manager Ohhh hehe. Thanks [emoji16]
  4. Sup gordon200, I am currently travelling, thus my late response and very limited resources to help right now. The thread that got merged with mine here confuses me a little. To clear things up for me, are these your problems? The game always starts in VR mode when using the links created through DCS CM whenever you use the DCS CM made shortcuts and exit the game, you get into a login loop I saw you mentioning that the second one also happens for shortcuts in Steam. Does that shortcut start the game directly or does it actually call the DCS CM .exe? Cheers m8, FitzZZ
  5. Hey soupyc, sorry for the super late replay, I am travelling atm. If you haven't tried yourself already: yes, the tool will create the VR config once, automatically enabling VR in that config. If you start the VR version and disable it in the settings, it will stay that way. Hope it works out for ya! (I don't quite understand the remark about Hollywood_315 though :-) ) Cheers FitzZZ
  6. I actually have exactly two: a 32-bit and a 64-bit version in the corresponding syswow64/system32 directory (excluding the component store). :-) Well, doesn't matter anymore fortunately :)
  7. Haha that is amazing :-D Weirdly enough you're the first one reporting this, but good to know. Hope it works for you now and doesn't have any more issues :-D Thanks for posting the solution, made me smile ^^ Cheers FitzZZ
  8. Yes I can read it (I'm german, too ;-) ) - unfortunately this tells me nothing. No .NET related errors? Those usually tell where exactly where it happened in the code.
  9. Could you please check your Windows Application log for entries regarding the app, I suspect a .NET crash message might be there.
  10. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World Content like this: "Path"="g:\\DCS World OpenBeta" "Version"="1.5" "Language"="EN" :-) Not sure if that's the issue, but it needs those for sure.
  11. As we're in the same TZ, you can also hit me up on Discord if you like. I should have a bit of time this evening. :-) https://discord.gg/nAnBh
  12. Sorry that it isn't working out for you at this point! Yes, it has a start menu entry named "DCS Configuration Manager". If the app manages to start (which in your case I think it does not), there's an exe with the same name visible in Task Manager. The path is ... randomized by Windows, that's just how it handles this kind of installer. It'll be at some obscured path at appdata\local\apps\2.0\... - the rest is randomly generated for your system. Could you please try to run the "portable" version from GitHub? If that one doesn't start as well, please check if there's a "clone" at %username%\AppData\Local\DCSConfMgr and if there's a log. Also, if it doesn't open, please check your Windows Application log for entries regarding the app, I suspect a .NET crash message might be there. We'll get this thing working for you somehow :-) Cheers
  13. Hey, really no how to needed here - it might hang for some reason without showing the window due to some "special thing" on your system that it can't handle. Pretty much impossible for me to check what that could be from here. Did you restart and retry using the start menu link?
  14. Hey! There's a small link in the window like "more information" or something like that. Click it and the "run anyways" button will appear. Cheers FitzZZ
  15. Hey Soupyc , while this isn't something the tool was designed for, you can still do it. The tool will only activate VR once in the configuration file. So if you don't mind it switching between two configs, it could still do that for you. They can still be the same settings wise :-) Hope that works for you, Cheers, FitzZZ
