I feel your pain man, I'm limping along with my 970 as well. I'm really conflicted on RTX vs. Radeon VII or even waiting until the new Ryzen and Navi release.

I've got it playable right now, but my system is pushing 5 years old right now and I'm feeling the itch to upgrade lol but now I'm eyeballing team red. Ryzen 3000 and Radeon VII are tempting, even though the new Ryzen isn't *technically* a thing... Yet

Can confirm using this tool realigns the image perfectly. However, I need to reset it after every mission (e.g. in menu, then in cockpit, then again back in menu, etc.). I am using the "make symmetric using left" option.
Hey everyone, I just got an O+ and I quickly realized my 970 is nowhere near enough to push it. My current specs are:
i5 4690k OC to 4.2ghz
GTX 970
16gb DDR3
500gb SSD
Now my question is this: when I go to build my upgrade, should I stay on the blue/Green team or is team red the way to go? I've seen a lot on the Radeon VII but nothing on how it'll preform in VR. If I stay Nvidia, should I go for a used 1080ti or sell my soul for a 2080ti? How does Ryzen vs Intel fare? Thanks in advance!
Edit: spelling. Words are hard.
I have heard that setting the display to 60 hz instead of 90 hz may fix the issue, but may also cause you to become nauseated. I won't be able to test until the weekend but I will keep digging and if I find a solution, will post. I've adjusted the IPD wheel all the from left to right and all the way across the board I'm getting the cross-eyed effect. Seems it has something to do with the engine and our hmd not playing nice.
You're not alone my friend. I have the Odyssey+ as well and even though your PC outclasses mine by a long shot I'm having the exact same issue. I've tried forcing ipd, turning settings down, everything. I don't have a fix for you but I want to let you know others are having similar issues!
