  1. Hi, yes, I am the scrub and I would like the weigh in this subject. I am not just on board with a training series involving civilian aircraft, but fully on board for civilian aviation in DCS in general. For starters, the other "civil flight sims" people point out to. I have been playing FSX for quite a long time, I like it, i really do, but, it doesn't simulate people like DCS, entering and exiting and seeing them interact in the cockpit, And dont get me started on hit boxes on scenery, You cant fly under a bridge and you can't even land on a random building with a helicopter, and no damage modeling. Lastly, even the steam edition is having performance issues, it is obsolete. Flight sim world doesn't seem to be doing all that better and I have never played X-plane, so I cant really tell. So, what many of you have ignored is that DCS is a better simulator than the rest. That's why I would like it better in DCS. My second subject is that there is one argument and one argument only against it. ED have their hands full, and they really can't do it. The rest is just gatekeeping. What are you guys gonna do if devs like aerosoft, cerenado and alabeo jump in and start developing civil aircraft for DCS?! Now bring me the Yak-40 and the An-2 this guy knows whats uphttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCJVvdhJ0TM
  2. Woah! Really?! Was hoping it was like a couple of clicks in the options menu. The post in the link doesn't make all that much sense and theres like 94 pages to that thread, seemingly not covering something like my setup.
  3. So, I got two monitors. One is a 37 inch TV at 1920x1080 which is set as the main screen on the left and the other a 22 inch monitor at 1620x1050 as secondary to the right. I want the small one to act as a targeting camera or MFD and Radar while the bigger one is the main cockpit view. So far I could't do it. In order to have the second monitor utilised, I have to choose the 3600x1080 resolution which basically stretches DCS on both monitors. When I try to set the monitors option to "camera+LMFCD" on the right side, the LMFCD takes part of the TV along the secondary monitor. Both Automated options make my smaller screen the main screen for some reason. Other options render the menus unusable. and I have to delete the .cfg file. I am not quite sure what am I doing wrong here
  4. 3 missions in and everything feels dead. There is no ground warfare going on. the only vehicles that will move are on convoys that get shot, AAA/SAMs shooting at you and air units. The coldwar hasn't gone hot. Its colder than ever before.:(
  5. Every aircraft in DCS has variants IRL. Doesn't this create a problem regarding the timeframe of a campaign? what if some key variants are missing?
  6. Harrier. It will be interesting to fly it. To be frank though it was a hard choice. would love me some old mirages and saabs.
  7. I gave my vote to the eagle and only because it was the only appealing aircraft Y U NO HAVE 3RD GEN AIRCRAFT?!
  8. MiG-23 gets my vote with the foxbat and fitter in second and third place respectivelly Also hi there
