  1. Hey guys, every time I join a MP server, it loads for a bit, then displays the F10 map for a few seconds and then switches to a light blue screen with the "info bar" at the bottom of the screen. Nothing happens until I press any key or click the mouse anywhere, and it shows the little blue windows loading circle instead of the mouse cursor and soon after a window pops up telling me that DCS has stopped working and if I want to wait or close. I can play single player fine, so what is the issue? Please guys, I've finally got decent at the Su-27 and learned all I can from SP, so I thought its about time I get in MP and learn from some real humans. Thanks in advance, and have a cookie :D
  2. Nope. It doesnt. My Su-27 cockpit is still in russian. In my DCS installation folder I have _MODS and in that DEVRiM SU-27 English Cockpit Mod v1.2a containing all the files for the mod. My cockpit is still not english though, what am I doing wrong? Anyone?
  3. Thanks, it worked. Now I need to check if my mod actually works in-game... *sigh*
  4. Yeah, well thats exactly what I did, and as I said it didn't work. It still recognizes the original Mods folder as the one to look for and displays "aircraft" and "terrains" as mods, when they actually are just folders for DCS.
  5. OK guys, so after downloading jsgme and adding a shortcut to my desktop, telling it to start in the DCS World folder and launching it, it asks me for a new name seeing as there already is a folder called MODS in my install directory. All is good until the point I click ok without changing the name of the new folder and it remains MODS. So now JSGME thinks the games Mods folder is where it should look for my mods, and I can't change it however I try. Please help me, I tried deleting jsgme, editing its settings file. Nada worked
  6. ok i read it. the thing is I didn't realise it was the readme for your mod, i thought it was a jsgme readme, and who needs to read that right :smilewink: Edit 1: Sooo how can I point jsgme to a different folder? Say I pointed it to the original Mods folder instead of eg: _Mods
  7. Hey, I still get the cockpit in russian. I use jsgme and its all insalled correctly, according to the 2 or 3 tutorials I watched on installing mods for DCSW. What is going wrong, please help xD
  8. Yeah, google let me down unfortunately xD I couldn't find it anywhere. Also, I know corner speed won't make me the king kong of the air, but in a fight it could end up helping if I use it effectively
  9. Thats it. I undestood it with your first line. Min speed while maintaining max G. So now, is there a magic chart or something that give me corner speeds, or corner speed range of different aircraft? Where can I find out corner speed for a plane I want to fly? Thanks! Edit 1: Here is a link to a chart for sustained turn rate of some US Navy aircraft: http://www.rdrop.com/users/hoofj/corner.htm Anyone know of anything like this for russian planes?
  10. Ok, so any of the few videos I watch on youtube about corner speed go into some complicated physics equations to explain corner speed, whereas I just need to get the watered down simple version so I can understand it. :helpsmilie: Q: What exactly is corner speed? (remember, keep it simple) Q: How can I use it effectively regardless of what aircraft I am flying at that moment, in a fight? Thank you very much guys
  11. Thanks for that! Also, I don't have\Dcs.openbeta\... just \DCS\ Will that make a difference?
  12. So, after completing the tutorial missions that come with the Su-27 module, I now feel like I need to practice to get better at the concepts in the tutorials. The problem is that the tutorials are good for explaining stuff the first time around, but after it just takes too long to for example to reach your target and practice CCRP bombing (the dude just talks too much). So my question is, does anybody know of any missions where I can practice the tutorial's concepts immediately after starting that mission. Say for example I'm practicing CCIP, I start the mission and a few KM ahead of me there are always a bunch of trucks for target practice. I hope I'm not too confusing, ask me for any clarification. Thanks guys :joystick:
