    Patching recently purchased copy

    I just bought a copy of DCS A10 on steam, and I don't see where it shows what version it is. I tried downloading the 1.1.0.6 patch because that was the earliest one up on the DCS website, but when I try to install, it says I need version 1.1.0.5. Is there a link to a cumulative patch that will be one download to bring me up to date, or does steam do it automatically.

    Yup, I get the same problems as d. burnette. I just put it on globally and got it to work...it looks beautiful. And with the 260, theres very little FPS loss. I did this same thing for lockon back when I was playing it, and it worked fine. It seems to be a DCS thing that won't let you do it...

    I'm using Vista 64 bit, and a GTX 260. My driver is 190.38. As soon as i'm done typing this, i'm going to see if theres a later driver that I missed. Another thing, when I add DCS.exe to the list on the Nvidia Control Panel, it will disappear off that list every time I close and open the Control Panel...

    Using something other then the mouse to click switches in the cockpit?

    well I have all the button's on my stick mapped already, (only using 1 mode though, there are 3 total I could use, but thats alot of remember) so I can't assign a hat switch as a mouse. I was just going to look around and leave the pointer centered instead of trying to move the pointer if that makes sense? So basically I have to figure out how to made one of my buttons do a mouse click, but I can't figure it out.

    Hey I have a noob question for you all...Is there a button that will do the same thing as clicking the mouse in the cockpit? Its kinda hard to take my hand off my HOTAS and grab the mouse ya know? Any ideas? IDK if its possible to program something in, but I am using a CH products HOTAS...

    Hey guys, I was kinda looking into a better processor for the comp i've been using, and I could use a little help. The processor I was looking at was this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819115037 its a wolfdale E8400. I D/Led something called everest home edition, and that told me all about my motherboard. It says I have a dell DM061. bus type: intel GTL +, bus width: 64-bit, real clock: 533 MHz, and bandwidth: 4265 MB/s. My current CPU properties are as follows: cpu type: unknown, 1866 MHz (3.5 x 533) , L1 code cache: 32kb, L1 data cache: 32 kb, L2 cache: 2 mb.

    So, what does all this stuff mean, and what all does it entail to do this? is the performance increase worth it? since i'm using a crappy vid card, if I upgraded, how much would that help me? and finally, is that E8400 gonna work with my current motherboard?

    sry if these are nooby questions guys... thanks.
