  1. That makes more sence. The heading from the IP can be close to the FAH, if the attack geometry is what the JTAC wants, but does not need to be. Usually in the remarks section of the 9-line the FAC/JTAC issues any FAH restrictions. I would recomend maybe making a note of that in the mission briefing though as line 2 (heading) and FAH are usually briefed seperatly. *shifting gears* The missions of the campaign I have played are awesome. It is really cool to be put in a stack at a holding attitude and hear the other strikers getting pulled out to do the work. Some things you might consider when building future missions (of which I am sure to buy) is putting any bombers and UAS at the top of the stack as they don’t usually go low. Also to increase the level of ‘real,’ pull from the bottom of the stack and step down the holding sections, or, if pulled from the middle of the stack, issue specific egress instructions with altitude assignments to de-conflict with other A/C when routing back into the holding stack. Either way, I am thankful for content creaters such as yourself! Thank you for making campaigns for DCS! More harrier please!!!
  2. I am enjoying this campaign very much, however, I am having a issue with the JTAC on the ground issuing a ‘winter’ (abort) call because I am not on the proper finial attack heading (FAH). The problem is that the JTAC is not issuing a FAH during the target attack brief. This was happening in missons 4 and 5, that is as far along in the campaign I am at the moment. The JTAC gives a heading from the IP and a direction I shouldn egress, but never a specific FAH. When I make my ‘in’ call on what I assume the FAH the JTAC aborts me. I reset at thr IP and try again, picking another FAH on what I would assume based off of the battlefield geometry as I see it. I keep going around, getting aborted, intil I pick a winner and the JTAC issues the clearance. Has anyone else expierenced this or am I missing something. I am familiar with NATO CAS procedures.
  3. Too am eating amrams from the f15s when i engage the bandits. I have been killed by friendly fore three times now.
  4. The annoying thing is that the clouds wash out the NVGs. It is almost like each puff of cloud was it's own light source. That seems more like an issue with the game and not mission design. I managed to make it by flying though the canyon with my NVGs off. BUt..... I liked the whole campaign except for this mission. Even Special Forces pilots adhear to weather minimums.....but....this is a game and that last mission was a nail bitter.
  5. Any chance that Eagle Dynamics will add the helmet mounted queuing system to their A-10C?
