  1. Nah it's OK, worked it out. So everywhere I look everyone tells me "DON'T RUN DCS THROUGH STEAM" so I was launching it directly. But if you bought the aircraft via steam the only way to get the key is to launch it using steam. Next concern: 9 activations remaining. I was hoping when I hand over money for software that I purchased it outright, not as a kind of time-limited thing.
  2. So I just purchased the A10-C warthog and Flaming Cliffs from steam. Installed, fired it up, and now DCS is telling me that I need to unlock it by making an additional purchase of a "serial number" directly from DCS sales. If that wasn't enough, it throws this dialogue up 20-odd times before you can escape out of it. This is a huge scam, I just paid $100 and now there's an additional unlock fee. That's completely illegal. DO NOT TRUST STEAM OR DCS. If you were suckered into paying the unlock fee, I hope you used a credit card so you can do a charge-back because you've been ripped off. It's sad and disappointing that things like this still exist in this day and age.
  3. Hey guys. I'm absolutely new and google isn't helping me. I have DCS world running with the oculus rift, but I put my tracking camera quite high up on the wall behind my screen to get better coverage. As a result DCS puts my head in the base of the seat. I can't figure out what key is used to re-center the head tracking. Any ideas? Second, I'm running the 1.5 open beta. Is it worth going to 2.0? What does it add? Thanks! Even at ass-height the game looks amazing! Edit: figured out that it's the numberpad 5 key. So I have a an x55 I'd like to use but configuring it doesn't seem to do anything, for instance the throttle is still the the rudder trim on the stick and it ignores the actual throttle slider, even though I'd configured it. Are profiles always plane-specific? Also, I have a LeapMotion and the VR mount. Any chance that DCS supports it?
