  1. Danke, Rindvieh :-D
  2. I also got several questions: - How many missions? - Do you get briefings with the campaign? - Who's the creator? I guess, it's neither Baltic_Dragon (since he is active in this thread) nor Ranger79... - Why was the campaign not mentioned before? Feel kind of surprised of the release. - Is it worth 10 Bucks?
  3. Makes sense! Thanks for your reply, NeilWillis.
  4. Hi, I was about to purchase the new campaign and was wondering if I could use bonus points. If I check out, I do not get the option to use them. I'm pretty sure, I used bonus points for The Enemy Within campaign last year...
  5. Hey, baltic_dragon, thanks for your reply! Ja, they took out the threats first. Then engaged the column. And then several pieces of infantry throughout the village. It made me wonder that I could not call Axeman for further targets, although a message made me think that it should have been possible. I was just able to request SITREPs on the AA-threats in the area. Somehow I must have misunderstood or even missed the message that I can return to base after the other flight was shot down. I followed the last known order "keep the enemy busy / let them pay for it" until I was out of fuel...maybe my fault :-)
  6. Mission 16: "Operation Thunder" I call in Pontiac and Hawg flights, both do their Job. I call Axeman for bunker location, I destroy bunker. Then we all attack the column. So far so good. But then Hawg and my own flight randomly destroy infantry without any further notice from Command or Axeman. I also can not call Axeman to give me further targets. Then the Hawg-Flights get shot down, but nothing happens after their crash is transmitted. So I snipe infantry after infantry, my Wingman crashes into the mountains and then, when Bingo fuel, I return to base and get the "Mission Completed" message :-D Seems like some triggers are broken in OpenBeta, right???
  7. Aaaaaaaaaaaargh! I can't AAR!!! AAR in 1st mission would be a dealbreaker :-D
  8. Haha, thanks. So it was supposed to be like that???
  9. Thanks Steve! Appreciate it!
  10. I tried to fly Mission 9 several times. Seems like after the update, the sweeping does not deliver the desired results. Following the sweep via the F10-Map, I think it's a timing issue. The F15s do not clear all air-threats. However, they manage to kill the Mig29s. When then being involved into the dogfight with the SU30s, the F15s get shot down by long-range-SAMs, which had not been cleared by B1 or SEAD at that time. I really try to get to the AO as late as possible, but I always find myself faced to least 3 SU30s, which have not been cleared by F15s or the F16s. After shooting down the 2nd Hawg-flight coming from N, the SU30s take down my flight one after the other. Is this a known issue? I feel like the success of the mission is not really in my hands, which is frustrating.
  11. spiddx, it worked for me as well. Mission 8/CSAR worked like a charm. Wags and Steve you did a great job with this campaign. So immersive! Thanks Redglyph for the hint about the .lua-file. :-)
  12. Hey Redglyph, editing the file worked. The Update itself did not work, though. I will check, if the Update fixed the copy-protection issues of the Dropbox-files.
  13. Hey guys, I got my campaign for free with the Nevada Map. After Wags put up the Dropbox files, I "installed"/copied them into my DCS directory to play the improved campaign. However, the campaign did not work well, but that was mentioned in another thread. Now, as 2.0.1 is out, I can not get back to my progress (the CSAR-mission/Mission 8). Instead, everytime I try to continue the campaign, I seem to "fall back" one mission after the other. So now, my next mission would be Mission 5... I thought, the update would heal the screwed up Dropbox-files... Any suggestions???
