I did some cpu comparisons and the i5 and i7 have higher performance. But cost more (budget).The bad thing I see with th i5 is expandability,it having the 1156 socket. I could only find 1 processor.With the AM3 socket I have a few upgrades.

After some reserch,I found out how it was overclocked. It's called BSEL .

I have a Dell XPS 710,and been trying forever to find a way to overclock it. The BIOS are unchangeable. The guy said there was a little known trick to fool it. I thought maybe someone new what he was talking about. Thanks Sorry I meant being able to overclock them.

The hardwarw looks siple enough to do.But the BIOS not for sure.Exsample do you have to install them like windows or are they preinstalled. Maybe someone could help on this problem.I installed some new ram on my sons pc ,stuff that will work. But I get a BSOD error -IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I can get into the BIOS but it says there unchangeable. I thought just maybe someone would have heard of it being done.I have overclocked other pc's. I am wanting to build my own rig,but not for sure how to.

Update----I did the test and found out a lot of info. My scores compaired to same type of pc was a little better than the one I conaired it to. Before you start laughing I have a dell xps 710.My specs. C2D e6600 2.4 Gforce 768 8800gtx 150 gig 10000 rpm raptor HD 4 gigs OCZ Gold Gaming ram sound blaster exstrean sound card 750w power supply XP Is there a way to overclock this pc ? The bios are locked.Hacking ect.... I can play any game without lag..

If anyone can help me it would be great. I am currently running OCZ gold gaming ram 800 mhz with timming at 5-5-5-15 1.8v , 4 -1 gig sticks. Ian thinking of buying Crucial Balistix 800 mhz ram with 4-4-4-12 , 2.0v , 2-2gig sticks Both are 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Both have Heatspreaders

Sorry for asking this here,but it seems no body can help me on some of the other forums.I purchased a legal copy of the aerosofts F-16 from there download. The problem I am having is that I only see 3 clean planes. Yes I have the "show all aircraft " checked ". Any help would be great...!

Sorry for my stupidity,but tryed to install it with modman.Modman shows it to be installed but can't find it in the game.I put .rar at the of the file name in the properties. Not sure what I did wrong.

FYI go to OCZ forums and ask them whats the fastest ram your MB supports.They helped me out a lot.I went from 2 gigs 667mhz plain jane ram to 4 gigs of 800mhz OCZ Gold gamiming ram.that gave me great peformence for about $ 70 USD.

I run XP 32 bit and understand that I will only get about 3.5 gigs out of it.

What is your op ion ? 4-1 gig sticks or 2 -2 gig sticks for a total of 4 gigs.
