  1. Bear in mind tho it can be a hefty 50gb plus download depending on your maps / modules. Im downloading a fresh copy now, but my internet speed is pretty poor!
  2. Brilliant, thanks for the update will try that tonight. Also read on here about mapping the radio community to HOTAS which should make it easier!
  3. I get the same issue too, thought it might just be a VR implementation but I've not tried in monitor mode to see if that rules it out. Certain items appear in white at certain times but there seems to be no real pattern that I've found
  4. I've done 3 nights with the spitfire and am only just getting the hang of take off & taxi manoeuvres. They're tricky, but very addictive to learn and I'm glad it's providing me with a sharp learning curve.
  5. I would agree with comments here, depends on what you've more of, money or time. For me facetracknoir works great, but I have spent a lot of time configuring it for my setup. Works great now that it's set. Doesn't stop me tweaking it every other week though, depending on my mood! Can't just blanket imply that free software crashes more than purchased software!
  6. Oddly, I'm just trying that now. Seems pretty good, but having problems with my curves, doesn't seem as smooth as FTNOIR, but think that's related to the filters. Another night messing with curves and settings than flying!
  7. I'm on 170 and using point tracker 1.1 and its pretty decent. Has its moments when I'm grabbing my beer and it goes haywire, but otherwise it's great. Using it on a TV from about 6 foot away, so keen to test this new version, see if the point identification is any better.
  8. Will have to test this later, cracking bit of free kit. Hope they're not moving to a paid model Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
