Optimization is progressing very slowly indeed. It is actually consistently poor. Not only does the CH-47 mess up your gaming experience, other MP players also have a significant FPS loss when the CH-47 flies by or just stands around. You don't like being seen as a Chinook pilot in MP. Please improve this at last.

A very impressive map so far. I would still like to see the Sparrenburg in Bielefeld as a landmark. It's the city's landmark. 52°00'53 N 08°31'36 E

The Map "Cold War Germany" is coming soon. For all those who do not know Germany. It often rains there. German cars even have working windshield wipers. Now if only the Mi-8s also had windshield wipers that wipe away the rain. That would be quite something.

First of all: support and passion are an absolute must. That's what DCS is all about. That must not be forgotten. So Mr. Grey, don't leave it out. It's more of a wish list than a real guess as to what will come, but here are my top points: DCS: Needs to be more alive! I want personnel at the airfield, FOB or FARP without having to pre-position every personal like in a Diaorama. I want smarter troops. AI is needed now. The troops should look for cover on their own. JTACs should search for targets on their own. Soldiers should leave burning vehicles. There should be soldiers who give medical help or reload artillery. A mortar firing without infantry just looks stupid. As a helicopter pilot, I want to transport my troops, bring urgent medical aid, provide fire support and bring supplies. The current troops that behave like wooden dolls and can be shot over like zombies should be a thing of the past by 2025. More old modules should be remastered. I think it's great when beloved modules are given a thorough overhaul. Please keep it up. Besides, Vulkan will probably...have to come.

OH-6A by Tobsen and Eightball
Crash * replied to tobi's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Dear Tobi, Dear Eightball. I just want to say again how incredibly good your OH-6A is. It's so much fun to fly this little gem around the country. I hope that you will offer the helicopter as an official module at some point, then it will be even easier to integrate it into multiplayer missions. The potential is already there. Just fabulous. Well done. Bravo. And since I can't get away from the OH-6, I have to ask you: Can I hope for a VR pilot body? That would be perfect for me. Thank you for your incredible work. -
Pilot body, is that coming any time soon and...

My post from 1 year ago: The F16 now has its pilot and I can finally enjoy the F16. That empty jet was driving me crazy. And the CH-47 got the pilot bodies shortly after release, which I think is great and always wish for from ED now. I still hope to get the pilot body for the KA-50 III before Christmas (this time 2024). Regarding the A-10C, they once said that it was planned. I hope they do, because that would raise the A-10C to a current standard. -
Hello everyone. For years we have wanted the heliport to be a colour other than grass green. Sand (brown) or stone (grey) would be possible. Mods are possible, but in multiplayer everyone has to have the same mod and that makes things unnecessarily complicated. Please fulfil this small request. Or send us a credible explanation as to why such a colour change should take so incredibly long. I would also ask about the lighting, but then the request goes straight into the shredder. So please just one alternative colour.

DCS: OH-58D Kiowa Warrior Upcoming Update
Crash * replied to Polychop Simulations's topic in DCS: OH-58 Kiowa
I'm really looking forward to the next update. I'm particularly looking forward to the sound update. It was a good decision to involve Echo 19 in the process. The result (YT preview) is fantastic. The fact that you improve and maintain your modules so often is, in my opinion, the best selling point for your (hopefully) next project. You are all doing a great job. -
Well said. The points also speak to me from the heart. Unfortunately, ED doesn't have the same attention to detail outside the cockpit. It would be great if ED placed more emphasis on this.

You guys are killing me. So many new details. I am very grateful to you for making the best map even better.

I flew over Hurghada in a helicopter today. Very disappointing. Dozens of cut-off soccer pitches and tennis courts. They don't even have nets or goals. The pools have no depth. And no umbrellas or sunbeds in the whole of Hurghada. Even the Caucasus can do better than that. What's more, the big cities all seem to be built on garbage and rubble. Oh yes, there are hundreds of roads that lead nowhere. Parts of the city are in darkness. There is still a lot of work to be done.

As far as I know, the BO-105 will have a female pilot or co-pilot?

Bump!
