  1. The 'A' is used when activating the Have Quick frequency hopping. Think it stands for 'Active' can't remember for sure though. Will DCS get updated to feature the ARC-210? That'd be nice :) . -Bear
  2. This is a problem with SoftTH 2.01 Use SoftTH 2.00 instead -Bear
  3. First, this isn't a bug or problem with FC2, just wondering if anyone here has any ideas. I am having a problem with the effects shaders in FC2 and how they interact with SoftTH. The following testing has been conducted with no graphics tweaking, other than to set the resolution to 3456x1948 in both SoftTH and non-SoftTH scenarios. I am running Win7 x64 with 2 x GTX260 (SLI disabled) ver 258.96 drivers on an i7 860. I have done a clean install and then run the game. I get a nice steady 50-60 FPS. When I release flares I get no noticeable FPS hit other than what I would normally expect. I have then patched to ver 1.2.1 and run the game again, no change. I have then installed SoftTH and run the game again. Initially the FPS is excellent but when I release flares I get a major stutter/pause in the game, sometimes for a second or two. When I exit out of the game I find this new information among the normal entries in the Temp\Error.log: ...and so on, there are a lot of these errors repeating. If I turn the effects to 0 the problem clears up entirely, however I not longer have a lot of essential visuals such as marker smoke and cannon muzzle blast. Can anyone help with a fix for this problem? Thanks in advance, -Bear

  8. The Chinook autorotates very nicely and has very good landing gear to allow it to survive a high rate of descent at touchdown. The separation and redundancy inherent in the design of the engines and fuel system also serve to make a dual engine failure very unlikely. Bear
