Hi I have a problem when I'am choosing Phenix or Sparrow missiles. A lot of times the Hot trigger symbol does not light up and I'am unable to launch a missile. If I change to Sidwwinder the Hot Trigger light lights up at once and I can fire a missile right away, a sidewinder that is. When experiencing this I have entered AA hud mode. Master arm is UP. ACM cover is up and I have a valid lock on a target. Missile prep is on. Anyone experiencing something similar? Best regards Jo E.

Thanks for your ansver, we do the same using the MP feature, but hosting the session I do notice a performance dip flying from the same PC.

You state: A server is dedicated (usually a separate computer that your not flying on) and will require going through ED to utilize their new dedicated setup. How do you set up a dedicated server? Ie. how do I do a dedicated setup? Best regards JEG

When raising the HUD the 2 lover dots in the triagnle just about shows up at the top of the hud. Right at the edge.

Yes and inn that text lies the ansver. Found it out last night by chance. To get a closer look at an instrument down in the cockpit I lovered my seat. When finnished had a snap look at the HUD, and there it was the Sidevinder targeting clues. Problem solved. When using the "center view" function, the seat rises to a position where you can not see them. So now when I'am dogfighting I have to lower my seat manually, and then I can use the Sidewinder targeting clues. But if I acidentally presses the "center view" function, the seat rises again. So thats probably what they mean by this: The ITR is restricted to being displaced ±6° horizontally and ±10 vertically, however the seeker may be locked on a target outside of the display area. And no it does not help to lower or rise the Hud. Uncaging displays the little target lock circle on the bogey, but you have to se the target clues first.

Thanks for your reply. I have found the fast select key. Uses it to change between Guns and sidewinders. But I'am sorry to say I experience the same as iKonane. No target circle is showing.

I have flown Wiggen for awhile now and have observed that contrary to HUDs in other aircraft, the hud display symbology is rolling across the hud when turning left and right. I.E. to fly towards a waypoint you turn the aircraft until the hud symbology shows up in the hud. That is ok as long as you are heading towards a waypoint or a programmed target. But when entering a dogfight the hud symbology disapears out of sight most of the time. I have been through the manual but can't find any clue there. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks!

God tip with the Luaedit sw. Used that and was able to edit dc_contries.lua file. But I see no change in mission editor when selecting units. I have added som user naval mod files. Earlier they showed up right away. But now only the default ships are awailable. Any tip would be apreciated. I see from Lowpass1976's file that you have added ships, have you added other ships than the default?

I'am running 1.5.8.12265, haven't tried 2.2. To heavy for my graphic card. But the problem is definitely in 1.5.8

Do you mean the A/A weapon select switch? Because I have used that, and after firing 2 Sidewinders it won't fire the remaining two.

When loaded with 4 x sidewinder I manage to fire off 2 x sidewinders from pylon 1 and 7 by using AA mastermode. But choosing the sidewinder on pylon 2 it sets targeting mode to HARM, and thus the Sidewinder does not start to seek. Have I missed something here, or is it a bug? Best regards from Harrier fan.

Not at all "all aspect" Was anticipating this to be fixed now, but as far as I can see the Mistral is still not all aspect. Have to get on planes and choppers six to get a tone. I agree that with all aspect the Gazelle with Mistral will be a real killer. So please look into this.:pilotfly:

Do you have any input on Mistral becoming all-aspect? Chasing fighters and helos has never been this fun!!! But with all-aspect it would be a real "killer".

Well the last patch made the difference. Those Mig 21's are falling out off the sky now. I still uncage the missile before launch though. Would have been realy nice with a larger supply of flares and a ECM pod.

God tip. To much going on in a dogfight, to selectively jettison any load.

Thanks hadn't thought of that. Also the jettison button did the trick and enabled me to fire the missile. Still need some practice, but when uncaging I keep the lock tone for as long as I wan't.

I'am wondering if anyone else experience this. Lying behind an enenmy fighter I get a locktone (the higher picth tone). But even on 3 km range they always miss. This is both the P and the P5. For how long do you need a locktone? Because sometimes I get locktone, but by the time the missile leaves the plane it's gone. This is without using radar. ( With radar on Mig29 and other planes lock on to you right away.) Then when it comes to the second missile it won't fire. This started for me after the last update. Before it worked fine. It also happens if I use bombs first, then switch to missiles. Then neither missiles will work. At the time I have opened the cover and right cliked the firing switch.

Error in training mission. The startup training mission does not tell you to connect ground power, only Pres. air. so therefore it won't start. Reading the full manual, it's stated also to connect ground power. The top speed should be 1700 km/h. But I hardly reaches 1400 in a shallow dive, with no weapons and little fuel. Isn't a little slow? Otherwise a realy nice plane. :-)
