    Hi

Would it be possible to consider two new airfields for the Mosquito please? These are Gravesend and West Malling.

These two would certainly add to the immersion with this great aircraft.

    Thank you.

    This would be wonderful.

  2. As the title says, just curious if there is any more development news regarding how it is coming along? Not interested in a release date, or the manual just a broad catch up.

    Thanks.

If more news has been posted could someone link me it please, cheers lads and ladies.

  3. Love the new update, and no noticeable performance drop flying over Beirut low and fast and then pulling back hard and cloud chasing. Had to reduce my view distance from extreme to ultra but everything else was maxed and still getting 65 fps over Beirut and 100+ when cloud chasing.

    Have a older system:

    AMD Ryzen 7 3700X.

    2070 Super.

    Ram 16 gig 3200MHz.

    Acer 27"  2560 x 1440p monitor with 144 refresh rate

But all i can say is WOW ED amazing job, i love the new update. Thank you.

If you had read and understood my post and the (thread) i linked (for a reason), this would have stopped you from writing a stupid post. But you did not, which is sad.

Prime example why i do not bother most of the time with the forums, have a nice day.

I don't care if it's done or not. But if, please make it an optional download. I don't want even more GBs of junk on my drive and liveries dropdown. Thanks!

Other than the base liveries and a couple that might be released from the module creator later on, i have never been forced to download anything unless i put them in myself. And if you have "Gigs" of downloaded junk on your PC that is your end.

It's a placeholder date. Steam requires a release date if I understand correctly.

That is correct, steam requires a date to advertise a product on it's platform. So as of now it's just a placeholder date to keep them happy, we could get it anytime over the next 3 months. Like many others i hope for sooner than later, but to be honest i would prefer a manual to study more than anything right now.

Who orders a module based on effectiveness? I order modules based on the significance of it (F-5E, Mig-21Bis, F-86, P51D , etc and etc)

In the same boat myself, i love all the older planes and helicopters, are they obsolete on a modern day battlefield? I suppose they are, but i like learning them because of that, clicking 20 buttons to start it up....yes please. To me it is the 'charm' of these aircraft that makes me spend hours with my head in a manual for days on end to work out a flow or what i need to flick to get something done.

Don't get me wrong i love the bug, fighting falcon and all the modern jets they are great modules and well worth the time to learn how to operate them, but for me old is gold.

  8. Day one buy for me, easy choice. Three months of waiting, but it could be less but i suppose that depends on a few things like the 2.7 update been released and how smooth that is implemented (the new weather looks fantastic).

    Amazing work ED.

  9. I'm sure someone will make a "clean" skin for all who have bad eyesight, i have not the best eyesight but can still read it just fine so for me i love the used look.

Once you learn what does what and muscle memory kicks in you wont be looking at the writing anyway.

But each to their own, some want a super clean never been used look, others prefer the seen action and flown look.

The mod makers and skin designers will help the community out like they have done in the pass.

  10. Would be a Nice addition that I imagine wouldn't be too hard for ED to add.. just a script that takes the name and nickname from your active logbook and adds it to your aircraft, otherwise everyone needs an entirely separate skin just to have their name on the side

    This would be very cool.

At least it would add a reason to even bother with the current logbook.

  11. In jabbers_ stream he did a basic start up with jester (around 2 hours and 38 minutes into the stream), and with a INS Go Now it was around 5 minutes and 30 seconds until he started to taxi. So if you want the basic it's possible to do it under 5 minutes if your fast.

Jester assisted is the longer one. 24 minutes or more depending on INS choice.*highlights where to select and bit tests etc*

Jester start now is the faster one. 5 Minutes or more depending on INS choice.

  12. Looking forward to it's release, have not flown in DCS since September last year. A new fresh start for 2019 in DCS and it will be with the Tomcat. Saving up for the Persian Gulf map this year i should have it by June or July, it looks amazing and i think it fits the F-14 well.

You all have a great day.

  13. Hi WarHawk,

thank you for your feedback, in fact we do mean attitude, not altitude. Attitude of course also means what you just mentioned (in relation to human behaviour), with aircraft however it defines the logitudional axis of the plane in relation to the local vertical.

The attitude is the aircraft's velocity and orientation in space, defined by 3 factors: heading or yaw (around the yaw axis), pitch and roll. This attitude is usually understood in reference to magnetic North.

Attitude + own position allow the nav systems to compute the necessary computations for precise navigation, weapons employment, radar use and much more.

Ah thanks for clearing that up for me, appreciate your time in explaining it for me. I have dyslexia so i get confused sometimes. Just looked weird to me that's all.

    Thanks again.

  14. This manual is setting a new standard. AWESOME.

Please allow me to ask if the below is wrong or I should not read it at 4am (but EGT is rarely 1000+ so my best guess it is turbine inlet temp)

In the cockpit instruments section the TIT Turbine Inlet Temperature is mistakenly described as EGT.

"Displays engine RPM (High-pressure compressor rotor speed (N2)), EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) and FF (Fuel Flow) for respective engine."

Right under the picture is Note: Image shows TF-30 engine instruments, F110 EIG coming soon.

  15. Little error under Navigation System, 5th paragraph.

"Although from the crew member’s point of view, the INS is used mostly for navigation, it is also essential for proper operations of other aircraft equipment. For example, the attitude is necessary for the radar. The attitude and the own position are required for some weapon delivery modes, particularly for long shots. Even more distressing to the crew, a complete failure of the INS renders weapons such as the AIM-7 inoperable.

    Think you mean "altitude".
