THE AV-8B HARRIER II + IS THE AIRCRAFT THAT THIS SQUADRON HAS; THE FIRST FIGHTER IN THE WORLD CAPABLE OF TAKING OFF AND LANDING VERTICALLY OR ON SHORT RUNWAYS, WHICH FORMS AN EXCELLENT PAIRING WITH THE L-61 “JUAN CARLOS I” AIRCRAFT CARRIER, ITS REASON FOR BEING AND FROM WHICH IT OPERATES PARTICIPATING IN THE MISSIONS ENTRUSTED TO IT.
