I just received my oculus rift and i have noticed that comfort is very important if you plan on using it for long periods of time. Personally I can play for 2 - 3 hours before the headset starts to feel uncomfortable. From what i have heard the Vive is much less comfortable than the oculus due to the strap design and extra weight. Also, make sure you have a good CPU, games like DCS don't use much GPU. Good luck with your choice, I know that you will never want to go back to a 2D screen.
