MAXsenna's post in Radio command hotkey stops working after a while (~10 minutes) was marked as the answer
Hi! Backslash "\" is the keybind for the Communications Menu, which only works on the ground for Full Fidelity models. You need to find the Push-to-Talk, PTT or radio button/trigger. Not at home or I would've proved a screenshot. Look in the HOTAS or Stick category.
Cheers!

MAXsenna's post in Extremely slow to load program was marked as the answer
No, the firewall isn't it. You're not streaming the game. Try to exclude Saved Games and the DCS core installation folders, (and/or your Steam libraries), in your Anti-Virus solution.
Cheers!

Tell them to hold somewhere before you land.

MAXsenna's post in Shkval in second monitor was marked as the answer
Did you choose Helios as the monitor file in the graphics settings? And choose the complete resolution of your screens? You might need to do it manually.
Did you download CaptZeen's Su-25T profile, because for Helios to write the file correctly, you must define where the Shkval goes on the second screen in at least one profile.

Exclude the core DCS installation folders in your Anti-Virus solution, and then perform a repair once more. In that order. That's very important!

Try clicking on the clock icon on the bottom of the screen, or change the date.

Double check if your Anti-Virus solution has quarantined any files. Try to exclude the DCS core installation folders, and perform a full repair.

MAXsenna's post in Add "Declare" hotkey to all F1 aircraft was marked as the answer
In the mean time as a workaround, (I've probably written this elsewhere), if you have VoiceAttack, (if you don't, you should), get the free VAICOM plugin, tune to the AWACS and just say "Overlord declare".

MAXsenna's post in DCS F-16 steerpoints becoming corrupted during mission was marked as the answer
There have been several discussions about this the past few weeks. You need to "Cursor Zero" or something to get things "back on track", and it's working as intended.

They both are multithreaded. The one called MT is for backwards compatibility before they remove it. Just use the regular icon and you're fine!

Mark it as a solution? If possible?

MAXsenna's post in Screen resolution was marked as the answer
Valid or not valid. I disagree to some extent, because there already is a valid solution. Either you save the two different resolutions as two of the different presets that are already available. While what you really want are two different monitor files which you can switch between, and can be chosen in the Launcher.

MAXsenna's post in DCS Updater Error was marked as the answer
Just copy the exe over. They're identical. When did you last update?
If the Updater is corrupted, you can download the latest one from the ED website, and then do a repair. That should get you all set.
Now, why did the exe disappear? Did your Anti-Virus solution snatch it?

It's a paid upgrade.

MAXsenna's post in F10 communications menu in flight? was marked as the answer
Yes, the backslash keybind, "\" is for the "Communications Menu" which is primarily used for Easy Comms and FC level modules. In FF modules Easy Comms will be depricated down line, hence why it only works on ground to simulate the ground crew. In FF modules you must use the PTT keybind. For single PTT/single radio modules, it's usually RAlt+\.

@Zapper3535 Hi, if you start the game with Skatezilla's launcher, you need to turn off Multithreading or DCS crashes on start. That's your issue.
Cheers!

MAXsenna's post in No radio context menu was marked as the answer
Backslash "\" like I wrote, (and you in the OP), not Forward slash "/".
The "Communication Menu" should not be used in FF modules anymore. It used to with Easy Comms on. If that doesn't anymore, it's for the better. 😉

MAXsenna's post in F-15C it disappeared was marked as the answer
Double check it didn't become disabled in the Module Manager for some reason?
Another tip though. It's always quicker to perform a full repair instead of re-installing the whole game.

MAXsenna's post in Abris displays wrong End-of-Route Point when Helicopter Pad is selected as landing location was marked as the answer
It's a fault with the Syria map. ALL helipads are named "H".
@f-18hornet Please make UGRA priorities and fix this. Maybe even ED could consider making heli pads non airfields. Could fix a flaw with Nellis too, where the helipad is useless with certain functions. Like ATC.

MAXsenna's post in Help Needed: Editing the Saved Games Folder Location for DCS was marked as the answer
To my knowledge that should be impossible, how would DCS know you did this? Unless, you actually did use symlinks. Saved Games is a Windows System folder. Can't be moved around in any other way. (Apart from doing it via the Registry, which is the same thing).
I've seen users have messes up the location of the Saved Games several time. I have a feeling it happens because it's relocated to a root drive, and not to a folder. Which maybe your case.
You don't won't either K or J to be your Saved Games folder. You want to have Saved Games be a foldee on those drives.
You moved the target location, while it didn't delete the folder, only moved it's contents.
There are easy ways to reset the Saved Games location. Don't remember what command to use, but a quick Google search gives me this. Guess what game was the first hit...
https://www.reddit.com/r/hoggit/s/2MhNkpKuPh
I suggest you follow the advice and reset it to original, and then move it to J:\Saved Games (make a folder), and not the root of J:\ 😉
Or to be honest. You could leave Saved Games in C:\Users while using symlinks to put the DCS files anywhere. That's what I do with the various "large" folders, like mods, liveries etc. that take up space.
Cheers!

Yeah, the forum search leaves a lot to be desired. Been mentioned many times lately actually, so you're absolutely not alone! There is some setting in ME that can shut them up, while the report of a group as a whole is an excellent idea! 👍🏻

MAXsenna's post in Do Player Stats Remain if a Module is Uninstalled? Also... Cloud-saved Stats? was marked as the answer
Yes, the Updater, (which does all of the installation/repairs), do not touch Saved Games. Not sure if you see the entries on the Logbook for modules that are not installed currently, but the stats are not removed.
BTW: It's not a new feature. The module manager in the game does the same. It's just even more convenient to be able to use the Launcher. Can even be done by command line.
