  1. You are right, this sort of fix should be made by the manufacturer of the module. But if its a choice between having a mod like this and nothing I choose the mod every time. I think that when it comes to practical realities we cannot expect a sound overhaul from Magnitude 3 LLC even if that was the only way to improve it. They will have better and most importantly more profitable things to work on. 'Some random guy' will have to do.
  2. I think the DCS MP experience could be enhanced quite a lot if mission makers could teleport player controlled aircraft while the mission is running. Has something like this been done before, or could something like this feasibly be done? My first instinct is that you could use something like a memory scanner and editor to find the memory entries that correspond to the location of an aircraft in 3d space, and just edit those, but obviously this might not be the best approach.

Here is how to win with the a2g radar vs any ground target: Set radar mode to LOG, use a joystick/throttle axis (like a knob) to tune the radar gain until terrain features are just barely visible. This will cause anything with a strong return like a vehicle to stand out. This is also useful in using the radar to detect aircraft, as they also will show up like a ground vehicle if the beam sweeps over them. If you set the radar elevation to look straight ahead instead of slightly downwards as is its zero setting, it becomes workable for air intercepts providing you have a rough altitude.

    Just curious, do you have a source for that information that the dev disclosed on how jamming works in DCS?
