  1. I bought a new laptop recently and reinstalled DCS World on it however it has a Windows 11 keyboard so there isn't a right hand CTRL key which doesn't allow me to start up engines among other things. The Windows key doesn't work either to start thinks up like pressing Windows and Home. Is there a fix for this?
  2. This was the problem!!!!! Thanks so much!:thumbup:
  3. I tried alt-enter, however it affects clickable objects in the cockpit oddly enough.
  4. So I have DCS World set to full screen, however it frequently only starts up in a much smaller window. The only thing I can do is restart the game. Sometimes this works and other times not. Anyone run into this issue?
  5. Just updated to the newest version of DSC 2.0 and now it wont start up. Gives me the error "The program can't start because vcruntime140.dll is missing from your computer. " Anyone know how to fix this??
  6. Just started playing BS2 and I keep getting a crash at the same point in the first campaign, mission 5 where I have the fly quite a distance to destroy some air to air targets so another group can destroy some other targets. Every time I get to the area and start destroying the targets, the game crashes to the Windows desktop. I have done this mission several times, but can't get past this mission because of this crash. Can anyone help? I can't seem to attach the .crash file to this message because it says it's an invalid extension, but have pasted the contents below. # -------------- 20170219-233901 -------------- C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\d3d11.dll # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 703F5D20 00:00000000 00000000 00000000 0000:00000000 703F5D20 012FEE30 0000:00000000 C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\d3d11.dll CreateDirect3D11SurfaceFromDXGISurface()+31760 4274211E 012FEEA0 0000:00000000 C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\dx11backend.dll ??1DX11Renderer@RenderAPI@@QEAA@XZ()+3DE 45E1378C 012FEF00 0000:00000000 C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\Effects.dll ?GetDeltaT@GraphicEffect_Impl@Effects@@UEAANXZ()+2DAFC 45EFB34D 012FEF50 0000:00000000 C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\Visualizer.dll ?DrawTransparentAll@RenderParserImpl@@QEAAXXZ()+7D 45EFE2D9 012FEFD0 0000:00000000 C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\Visualizer.dll ?drawDots@RenderParserImpl@@QEAAXXZ()+2749 45F1D08C 012FF5F0 0000:00000000 C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\Visualizer.dll ?Render@SceneManager_Implement@@UEAAXXZ()+DEC FFDC66DA 012FF660 0000:00000000 C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe FFDCD721 012FF6C0 0000:00000000 C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe FFDBBBD4 012FF6F0 0000:00000000 C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe FFDBBB24 012FF720 0000:00000000 C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe FFA971CF 012FFDE0 0000:00000000 C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe FFECFE1D 012FFE20 0000:00000000 C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe 75438364 012FFE50 0000:00000000 C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNEL32.DLL BaseThreadInitThunk()+14 773170D1 012FFEA0 0000:00000000 C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll RtlUserThreadStart()+21
  7. I'm having the same issue. I can't change my waypoint from 0. The distance always shows 9.2 as well.
  8. F15C waypoint issue I'm having an issue that I can't figure out and need your help! So whenever I try flying the F15C (Regardless of which mission) The waypoint in the lower right of my HUD always says 0 and the distance is always 9.2. Even if I fly for 10 minutes the waypoint and distance do not change. I've tried changing the waypoint by using either Shift ~ or Ctrl ~ but nothing changes. What the heck am I doing wrong???? Also, as a side note, why does the F15 have such a crappy autopilot? Why can't it follow a route? Perhaps both issues are related?
  9. Strange issue. AFter playing DCS for a while, my BT keyboard stops working. This only happens in DCS. Problem is it prevents me from playing anymore because I can't control things and neither can I exit out of the game. The only way to get out of the game is to reboot the computer. Anyone else experience this and or find a solution?
  10. To be honest I was looking for anything and everything I could get my hands on that would help me learn this awesome sim.
  11. Sorry for all the stupid questions guys. So when ATC tells me to taxi to runway 30, does that mean I go to the end where 30 starts and turn around and fly towards whatever compass heading is the opposite of 300 or do I start at the other end and takeoff in the direction of 300 degrees?
  12. I absolutely SUCK at landing. Can never find the airport nor the proper runway and I usually end up crashing. Is there an easy way to land?
  13. Thanks for the offer! Much appreciated but I like having a book to reference. Takes me a while to learn things. LOL
  14. I'm new to the A10C and I'm relying on this forum and the Wiki to help answer some of my questions. Just wondering if the links on the wiki can be cleaned up? Many of them go to dead pages.
  15. So I was flying around when there was a loud bang and I got a CADC error. All kinds of problems ensued, but I was able to land safely. I've searched the flight manual and the kneeboard notebook but can't find information about the CADC, what it does and how to correct it in flight, if that's possible. Can someone explain please? Also, is there an emergency checklist I can reference? If the crap hits the fan I'd like to know what to do. LOL Thanks!
  16. Have you been able to get either Target or Foxy to work with W10? I find it odd that my joystick works fine in the game but the TM software cant see the joystick, therefore I'm stuck programming the joystick inside DCS.
  17. Thanks very much!
  18. Hey guys. I'm very new to DCS A10C but am loving it. I am currently using a TM HOTAS Cougar that I bought second hand. Can someone help me configure this joystick to work with the game? I'm not sure what controls to setup and what buttons they should be mapped to. Thanks very much!:helpsmilie:
