  1. CH Products - Can't really go wrong. I've been using the Pro Throttle, Pro Pedals and Fighterstick for 3 years now without so much as a twitch. Oh and by the way, if you don't already own one, do not forget to budget for TrackIR 4 :) P.S. Here's an excellent review of the Saitek X52 Pro setup - http://www.simhq.com/_technology2/technology_104a.html -- Murphy
  2. Sundown, I have no affiliation with ED/DCS whatsoever but I very recently did a lot of research on a new high(ish) end system. What I ended up with was: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 (overclocks easily to 3.6GHz on air) Asus Rampage Formula Intel X48 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (Will handle Crossfire if I decide to go multi-gpu. Also has amazing overclocking options) Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-8500C5 TwinX (2x2GB) with Airflow Fan (High performance and rock solid stability) ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB GDDR5 (More affordable than the NVIDIA 280 line and have the option of adding a second in the future) If you're not concerned with quad core (I was as I also play a lot of FSX) the Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 is the processor of choice right now. I hope this provides you with at least a starting point. -- Murphy
  3. Hi MarkDude, I honestly wouldn't bother with labels for your controls. CH controllers come with a fantastic utility called CM Print which will take a controller map file and produce a high resolution image of each of your controls overlaid with the assignments you created. If you're anything like me, you'll also spend a lot of time tweaking your settings and have multiple profiles depending on which aircraft you're flying at the time which would definitely negate a lot of the benefits on on-stick labels. I'll upload a couple of images for reference in a few minutes.
  4. No Decerto, you're not. I played EECH to death many many moons ago but couldn't resist re-installing it once I became aware of Black Shark. One thing has lead to another and I'm now juggling between EECH, IL2 and LOMAC :joystick: Roll on BS...
