@TomVR Like finch said, for this mod i'm using just the main PCB of the G940 base, it's motors and the magnetic sensor. fred41 made a special firmware modification for me, to disable the "deadman sensor" functionality that is implemented in the grip of the G940 stick. For the grip i used the PCB of a WarBRD base.

how do you adjusted the motors torque? have enough power to feel the force feedback with a stick so long? In the MSFF2 you can add resistors to increase the power, I did with mine when I added a longer stick

What is the firmware/software that everyone is using to drive these setups? Is there an arduino handling the code to emulate the directx ffb effects or some external software calculating the forces?

I guess realdcspilot is using his logitech G940 hardware, I'm going to mod one of my MSFF2, the only problem I have is cut the case panels

Thank you. thank you thank you.

    That fixed all my problems.

I am now back in the cockpit and the Spitfire can be taxied again.

The rudder deflection problem still exists in both directions if using the z & x keys but taxying is now perfectly fine if using rudder pedals.

I spent several hours downloading and reverting to the previous release version, only to find that it did not fix anything.

I am beginning to realise just how much the files in the saved games folder can affect the program.

    Thanks again.

    I'm glad it worked

  5. Bugger!

It's going from bad to worse.

I tried 'Repair DCS World' and now I cannot get into the cockpit in VR.

I am stuck outside the cockpit on the port wing.

This only applies to the Spitfire in VR and not to any of the other aircraft.

The problems persist in both instant action and missions.

I have tried disabling and re-enabling the Spitfire module, but this had no effect.

I have also cleared all the superfluous key bindings for trackir (not being used) and mouse with no effect.

The last update really screwed up the Spitfire. :cry_2:

    try this:

make a copy of the folder "View" inside "..\Saved Games\DCS\Config" and then delete it. Be aware that you will loose the saved views if you don't make a backup

  6. Lol, we should just all move our stuff to the Russian forums, as that's where the real debates are raging. I don't think anyone but English speakers bother looking here.

Wish I could find a better machine translator than Google or Yandex.

well, I have my personal machine, my wife :megalol:

  7. Yeah, it would be what ever the adapter is, and I'm sure they experimented with it.

You should use a web translator like Google Translate or Yandex Translate, and read what the Russians are saying in their forums. A good thread on the BS3 in there. That's where the producers like Chizh are hanging out.

Stuff that's not being said here.

yeah, I know, I'm looking there also, thanks

  8. I want to say thank you to everyone that is contributing in this thread, it's very interesting, I'm learning every day something new... please keep it going nice and clean like now

    thanks again

  9. As any news posted on the official newsletter, with put all 3rd party news.

Do you think I'm an idiot or what? I really don't understand if is a sarcastic answer or are you serious, or maybe you always want to keep last word... fine... happy for you

I started to say thanks to ED, then all derailed in this... I don't know what's wrong with all you
