I'm coming back to DCS after a long break and I noticed that I can no longer see the ball in the ship view, but can see it while in external view and cockpit. Is this a me problem, or is this a thing? The photo may be at the wrong angle for the ball itself, but you can see none of the datum lights are on either.

I watched Devotion tonight and I think they really missed an opportunity by not having this released and getting hype from the movie.

If you turn off wake turbulence in the options then the burble is removed. I'm doing this until it is revised.

I'm pretty sure navy jets use the range. I know they did in the past; F4 and F14 pilots flew against migs based out of tonopah, often stopping at nellis to fuel up.
I kinda get it. Drooping bombs on one patch of desert is about the same as any other. ED can't compete with xplane or msfs in the sight-seeing department and I don't think we want them devoting resources to that anyway.
You don't speak for everyone.

Add new feature take time (between 4 and 5 years). So ED will release datacard when they are ready.
You have to be very patient when you bought an EA !
Are you a bot?

long bugs are a problem but we still have to reproduce to report them, how do you expect a dev to fix an issue that can not be reproduced or for a potential fix to be tested.
Testing and reporting is time consuming, it always will be but we have many here in the forums, our volunteers, and our testing team who go out of their way to do it.
We certainly recognize that there are bugs and missing items in the Hornet radar. In fact, this is the case for all radars in the game and even professional simulators. We continue to strive to improve and add as many features as feasible. What we object to is nonsensical statements like the radar is "completely broken". Such uninformed and overly dramatic statements do not help or accurately represent the state of the product.
thanksOk, it's not completely broken it just doesn't simulate how the APG-73 in the hornet works.

I agree that you should be able to do it via a key bind. It would be as if you told him to chaff over the ICS.

Flaps up on a cold start causes the wings to un-fold.

Writes a post with perfectly valid points. Gets dismissed because of feelings. Typical ED.

I have the same issue.

No climbing in the stack. If you need to go up you’d depart, go out ten miles and then come back in and go to the top of the stack.
-
Why not just use the datalink?

I don’t think that it makes much sense that a property of the carrier itself would be implemented differently in individual modules.

Can this get looked into again? The need to hold down a button to slew is the issue here. With the option unchecked the ground radar should be able to be slewed without holding down a button.

Thanks, that was it.

I’m having the exact same problem.

Yep, something with the pod. Can someone recreate it and post a track here so that they’ll fix it?

We typically use MIDS A and B for interflight/squadron which frees aux up for monitoring other buttons.

Agreed

If it is working correctly then they should change the text to “Realistic maverick tdc slew” as it only covers that one specific thing. Pretty bad user experience if that’s the case in my opinion.

I really wish custom spawn spots would be a feature for this module.

The F-14 now has working replays!
