Question: Mine seems to make a sound (mechanical- grinding ) when using Pitch. Just want to know if this is normal. I have raised this with ThrustMaster .

Agreed not an issue for me. Any way shouldn't that be your dead spot? Anyway what configurations are you all using?

Yes just checked Andre now has 8 motors. Things to look at first is the cost of each unit. With the HF8 you can use both software. Andre has been doing this a long time And aesthetics. Take your pick.

Mine should be here Tuesday not sure when i will mess around with it though. Will be interesting to see the new driver for it. For the guys who cannot wait here are some videos. The one not in English shows a bit of the Driver right at the end.

The HF8 has 8 Motors while Andre's has on 6 motors. If you use SSA - which has more features by far you can only use 6 motors and if you use the HF8 Software you can use all 8 motors but less features than SSA.

Thanks for investigating this for me. I got one on order was going to put a Virpil on mine but this will do. Thrustmaster has been out of the game a while lets hope that they bring new innovation and not play catch up!

Understands but its a new option on the market More for Space sims in my books but still a nice concept.

There are a few on YouTube too including that one just never posted them . I still think that they have a few innovative ideas in play with this model.

So looks like the two softwares cannot co exists, I started getting the same error. So you can only have one installed at a time?

Good point but you loose G-Sync if do not use DP? Still would be cool to have I wonder what the view would look like when flying. As it stands only AMD's cards can push this beast of a monitor via DP 2.1, cannot under stand why Nvidia wont up the DP on their cards. They should have done it on the 3000 series and most definitely on the 4000 series.

Hi Sorry about the late reply. I went with the HF8 in the end only because most people here use the Jet Pad and seem happy with it. The HF8 is cheaper with less cables and seems to work ok we just don't get full use of the 8 motors when we use SSA, we only get the use of 6 motors but you can access all 8 motors by using the HF8 software albeit with less tweaking options in their software. The U-Shaker6 would be the more premium option as the transducers react quicker than waiting for the motors to spin up like in the HF8 but after a while you don't notice it. Hope this helps you. Rapid
