  1. Hi, I manufacture 3D wall decorations, plaques and reliefs. A combination of cnc, laser cutting/engraving and 3d printing technologies. Thought I'd try some aircraft blueprints in this style and after fixing a 1000 problems I can say they turn out quite striking. Dear Heatblur, let me know if these are something you would be interested in licensing and/or offering in your webshop along shirts and hats. I'm based in Europe. If not, I will respectfully remove your logos and company name from the designs. And dear community, let me know if these are something you'd like to see as a product. Prices would be more competitive than a plain framed paper print of same size. Plaques are 12x17x1 inches or 30x42x2 cm. Bio-degradable plastic and water based paints and finishes. 1 lbs or 0.5kg each. An imitation of cast iron or stonework texture for now, but many other textures/finishes possible. So far I've done the Tomcat: Phantom: Viggen: I will continue doing the rest of dcs aircraft. F-16, F-18, Mig-29, Su-27 and WWII warbirds. Minus the company logos if no interest in licensing: Let me know what you guys think..
  2. Mine too. I know how much it costs to make metal injection molds, and here, for a 3 piece joystick and 6 piece throttle, you're talking hundreds of thousands of dollars in setup fees before you see a single unit. This looks great but I don't think anyone on this forum is expecting a 2.000$ price and they really should be. No mistery behind it really, a set of plastic high end hotas is around 1.000$, there is absolutely no way a full-metal one can be less than 1.5X to 2X that.
  3. I was thinking 1.500$ it it's cast alloy, like the TM warthog. To cnc this on a 5-axis mill, you're talking hours in the machine, per unit. If not days. If they could tell us how they plan to make them we could adjust our expectations. But seeing as plastic grips and throttles from the likes of Virpil and VKB are about 1.000$ for the set, you can expect a minimum of 2X for a metal product.
  4. As a machinist, my guess for the price is $1.500-$3.000 for hotas setup.
